Can I get that though?  No, no, no.  The Vikings played a pointless, meaningless preseason game so that's what everyone is talking about.   Stupid football.

I'm pissed about that too because if my A's do get no-hit, at least I could claim that the pitcher just had a great game.  Now if they don't get a hit against the bullpen I have to suffer with the fact that the A's suck ass at hitting.

Would anybody be interested in joining a RiffTrax Forum fantasy football league? I'd be willing to set it up on ESPN and act as the commish.

Francisco Rodriguez needs surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb.
An awful situation just keeps getting worse. He suffered the injury when he punched his girlfriend's father last week. K-Rod is not with the team in Houston, but it's not clear when the surgery will take place. Either way, he's expected to be done for the year. Rodriguez is on tap to make $11.5 million next season and has a $17.5 million vesting option for 2012. It will be interesting to see if the Mets have any recourse here.

Might be time to change my team name to K-Rod's Hissy Fits.

Reading the game summary I noticed that people are still booing AJ.  What the hell?  He played great for us and we trade him and yet the fans still boo him.
