So all this combined with the fact that every single year the A's are a second half time, I'd say now's the time to be an A's fan.

And then the A's get swept and Duchscherer goes back on the DL without throwing a single pitch...

I was unaware that USA Today was on the list of "people with perpetual boners for Yankees" with ESPN.  Guess I learned something today!  :D

I was unaware that there was anyone in television or print that DIDN'T have a boner for the Yankees.  Whenever somebody goes, "Oh, no!  The Yankees lost!" I just sort of go, "So?  Ever hear of Kansas City?  Or the Cubs?  Hang out with them for a little while and you might see baseball a little differently.  Or be in Lions country during the winter."

But the Tigers did get 2 over Boston.  At the game today, beautiful weather, beautiful win.  And trust me, we'll take a bases-full walk to win a game 2 any day.   ;D

Halladay pitches a perfect game with the slumping Phillies only geting him one run on an error to support him, Flyers score 5 and still lose, crazy night for fans around here....

Twins finally showing some signs of power again after struggling the last few weeks, hopefully they can sweep up the Rangers tomorrow night and maybe get a real winning streak going here to put the Tigers in the rear-view for good.

Apparently, there have been around 194,000 games played since 1880. So statistically, a perfect game every 9,700 games? And there have been two in the space of about three weeks?!? Un-freakin' believable!

Oh, and Morales busts his ankle in a walk-off grand-slam celebration??? I was watching it live and that was one of the most awkward, emotion-reversing moments I've seen. Seems like it's just not in the cards for the Angels this year.

VIVA IL ESORDIO DEL DIABETE ADULTO DUCE!!!
