I know someone who and I am not kidding really believes that this movie is based on a true story.  I will debate you until he is blue in the face if you say it isn't.  Also he has  been trying to learn how to telaport just like in this movie.  I really thinks he can do it.

I wish you would step out from that ledge my friend.
You could cut ties with all the lies that you've been living in, and
If you do not want to see me again, I would understand.
I would understand

The angry boy, you been too insane.
Icing over a secret pain.
You know you don't belong.
You're the first to fight.
You're way too loud
You're the flash of light on a burial shroud.
I know something's wrong.
Everyone I know has got a reason to say
Put the past away.

If their music was used in Jumper they most likely hung themselves.

Nah it would have been a nice residual check. My sister loved their slightly iffy music.

They renamed themselves 3rd and 2nd Eye Blind after a tragic fork related mishap Thanskgiving 2007.

And I would like a  million bucks but that isn't going to happen.

Last I heard they had to rename themselves No eyes after a tragic mishap with a box of pens.

Topics on Internet forums frequently drift from the original intent.  In this case, your mention of the movie Jumper made me think of the Third Eye Blind song of the same name.

I know this isn't an official Rifftrax, but I just wanted to let people know it's out there. I assume Jumper is probably in a similar situation to 2012. Maybe they've seen it and just think there are other movies they can concentrate on that would work better.

i'm (not-so-) patiently waiting for 2012.
Someone really needs to find the quote about that most likely not happening.

No need. I was in the screening room that day, and it was pretty unanimous that they wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, they ended up playing it at 1.5x speed from about the half way point just to make it through without needing to pound their heads through the wall to make the pain stop.

I know one should never say never, and things could change...it's up to them after all. But as of now, I don't see it happening. Also, my own personal opinion here, there's already a great Riff for Day After Tomorrow and even though it doesn't have Mike on it, I think doing 2012 is redundant.
