Pretty cool gadget! Now all the "why don't you get a real guitar" jerks can shut up.

"Can" and "will" are, alas, two different things.

4 More Rock Band 3 Song Announced

25 or 6 to 4 - Chicago
Midlife Crisis - Faith No More
Spinning Wheel - Blood, Sweat & Tears
Need You Tonight - INXS

Also, it's probable that 20th Century Boy by T Rex will also be in Rock Band 3.  But that has not been 100% confirmed by Harmonix yet.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

6 More Songs Confirmed

Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World
The B-52's - Rock Lobster
Def Leppard - Foolin
Marilyn Manson - Beautiful People
Foreigner - Cold as Ice
Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot

I prefer Head Over Heals instead of Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Head Games instead of Cold as Ice.  Oh well.  DLC, perhaps.

Wow. Didnt see that Chicago song coming, but I'm looking forward to it for some odd reason.  (My taste in music is quite varied. As I'm typing I have As I Lay Dying cranked.)

In terms of songs I like, I'd have preferred "Shout" over "Everybody Wants To Rule The World," but I totally understand why it was picked. And "Foolin'" may be my favorite Def Leppard song.

If true, woot. I've been asking for Zevon for a while. Although I've been asking for Lawyers, Guns and Money, which would be more fun to play.

If this is true, I'd fully expect Warren Zevon DLC down the road.

Wow.  Werewolves of London, Good Vibrations, Fly Like an Eagle, No One Knows, Whip It, Smoke on the Water, Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting), Misery Business, I Got You, and I Can See For Miles are ones that I'm really looking forward to.  I'm thrilled that they got a John Lennon track.  I hope that this means that we can look forward to more of the Beatles solo effort tracks to be released as DLC.  And I'm beyond happy that Free Bird is back.  It will be nice to be able to play the master track of this since we only got a cover back in Guitar Hero 2.

Until this announcement, the setlist was looking fairly weak, IMO.  Now this might just be the best setlist yet....assuming that the charts are charted well.

Since they're holding off on announcing the last four tracks I hope that means they'll be the biggest songs on the setlist (A Led Zeppelin song, for instance, would be huge).  Finish strong, Harmonix!   :)

One Armed Scissor! I can sell my copy of GH5 now! (Or whichever one that song was in.)

Also Primus! Finally! (Hopefully we can get more in the future!)

The last 4 songs have been officially announced.  They're bolded.

Full Rock Band 3 SetlistAvenged Sevenfold - Beast and the Harlot
Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh
The Doobie Brothers - China Grove
J. Geils Band - Centerfold

China Grove!   ;D

Also, just a note that if you pre order this game from Gamestop they'll give you a free 3 pack of DLC which includes:

Talking Heads - Burning Down The House
Deftones - My Own Summer
New Order - Blue Monday

EDIT:  Eagle-eyed peeps may notice that Spinning Wheel by Blood, Sweat, and Tears is no longer on the setlist.  We know that this was originally planned to be on the Rock Band 3 disc when it was announced.  But between now and then Harmonix has obviously changed that.  Whether that means there was some kind of legal dispute or that they simply moved it to their DLC release list remains to be seen.

Lots of tidbits are coming out here and there about the interface and game features.  Here's some info on the new song selection screen interface.  Pretty cool stuff:

http://www.rockband.com/zine/rb3-features-music-library

Also, it looks like Gamestop isn't taking pre-orders for the Madkatz Rock Band 3 Keyboard stand or the Rock Band 3 mic.  It's a good thing that Amazon.com is though!   :)

If you're a singer you might want to look into getting the Rock Band 3 mic as it has higher clarity and a much more accurate vocal detection range:

RB3 Mic:

http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Band-Microphone-Xbox-PlayStation-3/dp/B004073MCM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1284117995&sr=8-2

RB3 Keyboard Stand:

http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Band-Keyboard-Stand-PlayStation-Nintendo/dp/B0040J1REA/ref=sr_1_8?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1284118102&sr=1-8

And yes, you can adjust the height on the keyboard stand.

The only reason I'd purchase this stand over a regular, cheaper stand is that this one is designed for the RB3 keyboard.  My fear is that a regular stand would be too wide for the RB3 keyboard as it's considerably shorter than a normal keyboard.

So is anyone else confused by the lack of being able to pre-order the PS3 game & keyboard bundle?    ???  The Wii & Xbox both have it.
