It is funny to me that many people who love Lynch's work, don't like Dune.  I hate David Lynch movies, but I love Dune.  What a crazy world.

I've only seen one of Lynch's movies all the way through: Mulholland Drive. It's mysterious, it's captivating, and at one point in the movie, something happens, and the movie switches from odd to downright psycho. After that crucial point, I have absolutely no idea what's happening.

Oh, and there's hot girl on girl action...   ;)

I think my favourite part in Mulholland Drive is just before everything goes tits up.  When the two women go to the theater and

You better be taking the Descent off the list because it's 2005 movie...

Decent was cool because they pretended to be a horror movie at first (the cabin), then they arrive at the cave and I enjoyed the fact that the filmmakers were messing with us... what I didn't like however were the characters, frankly I'm glad the "heroine" got a grudge. Why in the world did she kill her friend for no apparent reason, unbelievably irresponsible filming.

heheh..good to know we're not opinionated about movies. how can you cross off a movie on my list you haven't seen? :)

not that i feel one way or the other about it but what didnt u like about scanner?

i thought the story just dragggged & the (some of the) dialog was cliche.

i think it disappointed because i expected so much. the look of it was so fantastic, i was expecting the rest of the elements to live up to the look. (think "dark city" - the story, etc was a good as the look of it)

What the hell was cliche about the dialogue? I want you to name one other movie that had the same dialouge like A Scanner Darkly. The story does not drag on. It was a fantastic film/

I thought some of the dialog was annoying, but i think in a way the characters were supposed to be.  They weren't the cream of civilization to be sure.
