What new terms did we learn
« on: May 01, 2009, 05:04:42 PM »
I learned, much to my horror, that there is such a thing as Scalloped Cauliflower.

I did not learn the consequences of Tim coming home for lunch and only having cake.

I learned that their marriage is doomed to failure if they are going to be relying on the cooking of someone who had to be shown (and described in scientific detail) boiling.

I learned that people in the 1950's were f*&$@ing morons who had to have 'boiling' explained to them.

Oh, and I also learned that crisp, flavorful, steamed vegetables = communism.  Seriously, that cauliflower dish both looked and sounded horrible.

I learned I've been creaming my butter wrong all my life...

Also I can "roast" a cake and make a pot "bake" because the terms are the same

Centron was one of the first green companies. They recycled their roller rink intro music, narrators, actors, and KU professors

And even footage. The stew was in the other Centron short, "Buying Food"

To be fair, it might have just been a very popular stew in that time in American history.

Stew should always be popular, it's the best way to cook horse after all.

I do find it funny that the food that looked awful, mainly because it was in black and white. Maybe do a film test when choosing recipes next time, huh?
