About 20 hours left in the big sale at GOG.  A lot of bundles 75 to 80 percent off.

I might pick up the Sierra bundle (25 games for $25), might be fun to replay some of the old King's Quest games.  And play some of the others I didn't have the money for back then.  Can't believe the first King's Quest is almost 30 years old.  Ahh, the Commodore 64 days....

I picked up the "Definitive Dungeons & Dragons" for $21.10. That is a terrific deal for those 10 games!

I am psyched. Thanks for the heads up on that sale.  :D

(And Final fantasy VII is now available on Steam for the JRPG fans.)

Which I am tempted to buy, having not played the game in quite a long time and liking it as a kid.  What do you guys think, is it worth it for nostalgia?  I'm assuming I'm not going to be in love with the gameplay.  But I'm still very tempted....

They're advertising the game as having a way to level up stuff without grinding, so I'm guessing some sort of in-built cheats system to smooth over some of the gameplay's flaws.

Yeah, that was advertised as a feature when the game was announced. So if you don't want 20 hours of chocobo griding, you're all set.

Steam Sale.

Not, not the Isaac item. The actual sale.

We'll see if anything I want and still haven't bought from some other recent sale pops up.

Oh, but between the Steam Sale, Pacific Rim and Sharknado all arriving on the same day, this may be the greatest day in the history of humanity.

Told myself I wasn't going to look at the steam sale... Then I got bored at work. Thankfully there was nothing I wanted. Not only do I not have the money, but I dont have the time for new games.

But I can finally relate to suburban women at a shoe sale.

Time to play? The only thing Time factors in is how long the sale lasts.

Ferengi Law of Acquisition #185: Time to play is irrelevant. Grab the games while they are cheap.

Just a reminder, always keep shopping around.

Steam is selling Tomb Raider for $12.49 for the next 2 days as part of the Steam sale. But Amazon is matching that price and is offering a 15% one time discount with the code "Gooncave" bringing the total to $10.62. That code works for any download, but is a one time use. (And all versions of Tomb Raider activate on Steam.)

The Swapper is on sale on Steam for 7.49 until 5 AM. I really recommend it if you like really good, atmospheric puzzle platformers. Great story, great puzzles and amazing visuals. One of the best games I've played this year.

I don't know if this is nationwide, but Walmart (I know) had a huge bin of $5 games. I got Hitman Absolution, The Ratchet and Clank Collection, and Red Dead Redemption for $15 total.

I envy you if you haven't had the chance to play Red Dead Redemption yet. That's a particular favorite of mine.

RDR is amazing.  Play it on the biggest screen in your house and let the landscape wash over you.

Wow.

The Humble Origin Bundle. At www.humblebundle.com

Normally, Humble is an indie bundle, but this time it's an EA bundle, with all the proceeds going to charity. It includes:

Dead Space
Burnout Paradise
Crysis 2
Mirror's Edge
Medal of Honor
Dead Space 3(!)

and beat the average (currently about $4.75) and get
A Sims 3 Starter Pack and
Battlefield 3

Steam keys are also present for all games other than the Sims, Battlefield and Dead Space 3. Or you could just activate them all on Origin and not worry about it.
