Well, it's a YMMV thing, but...

Old Navy had some copies of Lego Rock Band left over in their warehouses and some Old Navies are selling it for $19.99. In addition, it seems that many other Rock Band titles at Old Navy are $19.99 this weekend, including Rock Band 2, Rock Band Unplugged, and oh, yeah, Beatles Rock Band.

But this is very YMMV. Some stores are discounting Lego and Beatles, others aren't. Still others don't have them at all.

Amazon has a nice 360 bundle on sale right now.

The Xbox 360 Elite Winter Bundle (with Pure and Lego Batman) is on sale for $269.99 at Amazon. If you buy it with The Beatles: Rock Band (game only) for $49.96, you get a $50 Amazon gift card. The Modern Warfare 2 Elite is also eligible for the promotion, but is not on sale. (It's still $399, but has the bigger HD, an extra controller and CoD: MW2)

So, Target's web site has a coupon for a free1600 Microsoft Points card with the purchase of "Xbox Hardware" (their words, although they probably meant an XBox 360 system). Well, I already gots a 360. so I went and purchased a Guitar Hero World Tour band kit for $88 (a decent price, but not necessarily a great one); after scanning that, they scanned the MS points card, and then the coupon, and it totally worked!

BTW, some people have reported being able to do this with a clearance-priced 360 game as the first item; I have no proof of it, it's YMMV, and I can't openly endorse such a tactic.


In other Target news, they had Singstar: Queen for the PS2 for $7.48. I got that, went to Gamestop and got a brand-new 2-mic Singstar kit for $25, then came home to discover I don't know where the hell my PS2 connection cables went after the move.
