Oh look. It's Christmas time.

At Walmart, starting on the 7th (Saturday)  buy a 360 Arcade for $199 and get a $100 gift Card.

(Plus a 42" Sharp HDTV for $500 and a blu-ray for 4148.)

Okay, a heads up here.

The following will be on sale after Thanksgiving at a certain store that sounds like the place that Ash works at and one that rhymes with Beers. Hint, hint. (I suspect they'll also be on sale at Amazon as well.) All are $40, except for Drawn to Life.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (360/PS3)
Brutal Legend (360/PS3)
Dirt 2 (360/PS3)
Dragon Age (360/PS3)
Drawn to Life $19.99 (Wii)
Halo 3: ODST  (360)
Left 4 Dead 2 (360)
WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 (PS3)

Dragon Age gets released this week, and Left 4 Dead 2 comes out on the 17th.  You may wish to keep the receipts to price match or delay your purchases until BF.

If you've had your eye on Telltale's Wallace and Gromit series, but haven't wanted to put down $35 for 4 Episodes, Telltale's celebrating the 20th anniversary of Wallace and Gromit by knocking the price down to $20 until the 8th. If that's too much to pay, they're also giving away a free episode. AND, if you've already bought your season pass, it's time to preorder your free collector's disc. :^)

And if you've always wanted Mass Effect, but were unwilling to pay more than $10 for it, Steam has it for $10 this weekend. I already have it on my Xbox360, but it could be cool to have it on my PC too...

Has anyone come out with any good mods for it? If only my computer could handle it . . .

Killzone 2 for $29.99 I'm sure this is going to go quick (unless it's a permanent price drop) so snatch up a copy asap if you've been looking for this.

If you have a Blockbuster closing anywhere nearby, check their games section out. I got Lego Batman (a replacement for a broken disc) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine for $12 each (20% off).

Allegedly, at Old Navy, if you buy at least $20 worth of merchandise on Black Friday, you'll receive a copy of Lego Rock Band.

Edit: Here's the scan from their ad flyer:

I don't know why, but the way it's worded makes it sound like just a promo or demo disk.

My wife works at Old Navy, so I heard about this over a week ago. It's the full game, but the game only, no controllers or anything, and it's only the PS3 version. I'm not bothering with it myself, since we don't have a PS3.

Duh! Get it, then trade it in on a 360 version.

Even if it's just the PS3 version, I can pick up a used guitar for $10 and I have microphones, so it's still a great deal.
