I wanted to walk around the center of town tonight, if the stupid line of rain would just move a little farther east I could, but it's just sitting there flowing from southwest to northeast....

So we had an unexpected rain shower here last night and as I've mentioned, it's the dry season here but every once in a while, we get a surprise rain event..
Looking at the satellite image, it looks like we could be in for more rain possibly as this new storm system  develops and heads into the south east U.S this weekend :o
There's a good bit of clouds coming in from the west coast into our locale and cooling the temperatures here a bit (from the upper 80's/low 90's to low 80's) and people here are starting to get cold which is bringing in customers to our boutique looking at our hoodie sweatshirts so maybe we'll make some sales as a result 8)

Supposed to get 4-6 around here, but the high tomorrow is only supposed to be 16, low of 5 Friday night, you folks up north are supposed to go below zero.  I think it has been a few years since Philly had a single digit low.

We've had about 8 inches in the last 24hours, or a "minor inconvenience".

We are only supposed to get in the 50s and 60s the rest of the week.

Oh the panic!

" WIND CHILLS... WILL DROP AS LOW AS MINUS 25 DEGREES LATE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. "

That's Fahrenheit in me-n-Space-Version-2 land, but getting close to the point where degC = degF anyway (-40).

I think CNN is trying to make winter seem like such an odd thing.

"And not just the Northeast will be hit, forecasters said. About one-third of the nation -- approximately 100 million people in 22 states -- is in the path of this storm."

So, 33% of the country is DOOMED because it is winter..........snow, it has been happening for centuries now.

Fine, you all just move to my house.

We could use some first hand video footage.. And a fall from the roof would be nice ;D

It's way too fluffy this time.  Would do nothing to help with the impact of hitting the snow.

But here's this one from a while back! (My daughters reaction was so sweet.)
