Our local weather in Lancaster county has been downplaying the severity of the storm, but it's possible that NYC could be severely hit. I am not looking forward to this at all -- when there's a heavy downpour in NYC every sort of drain in the basement in which I live erupts and the place gets flooded. My room is usually okay, but it's generally a miserable place to live for a few weeks afterwards.

Yeah, I can't really do that. My work requires that their employees come in, whether hell or high water.

That just sounds nightmarish.

Frankenstorm? Oh good. Hopefully we don't lose power (or at least for very long). I can deal but my kids will drive me insane.
