It's as windy as fuck here in NYC. Sounds like Godzilla is out there.

Windy fucks are why I don't eat burritos before sex.

I can't stop laughing.

Well FUCK.  It just hailed like a motherfucker, pulverizing most of my seedlings.  GRR>
Just zoomed out on the radar..
If it survives getting over the mountains, those storms will affect us tonight :o

Guess I better get the plastic out to cover my concrete mix  :-\

Dear god, I just saw the video of those 18-wheelers being thrown about. Hopes with those in the Dallas area.

And my wife wonders why I don't want to move to Dallas...  I'll take snow storms over that ANY DAY OF THE YEAR.

This was the weather here on Saturday, just after I planted some flowers.

Fucking hail.

Ouch.

By the way, that is an awesome-looking neighborhood. Look at all that open space! The dogs must absolutely love it.

How is the land classified? Is it just shared public space, or is it private property with no physical boundaries?

As I was leaving work tonight, a severe thunderstorm line formed just east of our locale and moved eastward away..
Quarter size hail was reported with this line. We got lucky! :o

So I'm on a 3 day weekend from work and now the temperatures plummet into the 40's for lows and barely making the 70's for highs :o
It's actually quite comfortable and with all the rain from the last couple of days, the pollen levels have dropped off as well.
