He's right.  The emotion is real, I'm pissed off about the Yankees winning.  That's real emotion right there.

I did like Texeria saying that "god told him to sign with the Yankees".

Yeah, god and 180 million.

I saw that interview too and was thinking that as well.  I also couldn't believe he admitted to praying for a World Series win.

So let me get this straight, you believe God so if its all real, He has blessed you with the talent to play baseball and do what you love for a living.  Not only that but He has made you wealthier then most people in the world already and now you pray DEMANDING you also win the World Series?!?  What a selfish prick.  Shouldn't you feel humbled and blessed like you don't really deserve it since this has all been given to you?

This is why people hate the Yankees so much.  Its not the winning, its the unbelievable arrogance.  The Yankees are above everyone else and DESERVE to win every year because they are the Yankees and if they don't its because they got cheated out of it for some reason.  Because it sure wouldn't be the case of another team being better one year, oh hell no.

Texeria worships a pallet jack full of $180,000,000.

Post mortom for the Phillies:

3 Phillies going into surgery, Lidge, Ibanez, and Eyre.  I figured Eyre, and possibly Ibanez, but no one knew Lidge had a physical problem with his elbow.  So maybe if everything is fixed he will be back to "lights out" next season.

They also let Brett Myers go.

Big surprise they picked up the option to keep Lee.
