They relied a bit too heavily on Palpatine, but there were more hits than misses. I think I enjoyed it a bit more than the first one.

Interestingly, the parts that most people I know always praise as the best parts from the first one (the Palpatine phone call and the "I am your father" scene) were all taken from earlier RC episodes, so if it had just been the original material, I wonder if they would have liked it as much.

This time, i remember the Lando dinner scene from an earlier episode; anyone know if there were any other repeats?

See I love Palpatine, and I really liked the whole bad business trip bit.

I love Palpatine too, and most of his sketches were funny, but I think he works best as a nice occasional surprise. Seeing him show up is less special when it becomes "Palpatine and Friends: The Sketch Show."

I liked Death Ball MD. (was it Death Ball?) I thought it was hilarious; I mean, I had always excepted that it was a torture ball, but a DR? and that would explain what that shot was.  :D

Actually, it was Dr. Ball, MD.

This one was amusing, but most of the skits in the first one were much better. I liked Dr. Ball and the two sketches about Cloud City ("this deal keeps getting worse" and the post-betrayal dinner). The emperor skits were not nearly as good as the phone call sketch from the first one, but the "could this day get any worse" bit was pretty good.

On the whole, I'd give it a B. I got a few good chuckles, but it didn't measure up to the first one.

They said they focused more on story/character this time, where the first one was stuff fanboys would speculate about. Obviously that wasn't true, but it's what they said. All of it was better than the Star Wars on ice skit.

Yes, but being spit in the eye by a camel would be better than the Star Wars on Ice skit, so that's not saying much. ;)

I watched it finally and knew I'd enjoy it. My favorite part was....

I liked Death Ball MD. (was it Death Ball?) I thought it was hilarious; I mean, I had always excepted that it was a torture ball, but a DR? and that would explain what that shot was.  :D

That really cracked me up, and I'll never look at it ever the same. Dr. Ball, M.D. giving shots to the jawas...that was cute...

I got the 1st Robot Chicken-Star Wars disc from Netflix over the weekend and added it (the episode only) to my Video Collection on my BlackBerry Bold.. 8)

All the Extras were pretty boring to me, but the 22 min episode was pretty funny :D :D

My absolute favorite was the Jar-Jar Binks spoof of Geico commercials.  Ahmed Best apparently won an award for that.

Anytime you can have Seth MacFarlane as Palpatine ranting away at Vader, I'm happy.  "You look like a little mean pepper shaker"
