Really enjoyed the first. Barely made it through the second. Looks like it'll be another season of hit and misses.

My fingers crossed on this. Hope they make a better one next time.

Im, were you using an anonymizer when it happened?  What was the outcome?

Wasn't. Got a vaguely threatening formletter from the company and it named our IP and the file I downloaded and gave me an option to pay it off and never hear from them again.  It might have been a shakedown, but I did it.

Damn. Mine was just a threat letter sent by HBO to my ISP and then forwarded to me. They gave me 24 hours to delete it and I got the letter 2 days after I watched it and deleted it.

Best episode in a long time, laughed my ass off.

And it started off with a big laugh at this, especially since I was watching on the computer:

Anyone else notice the Star Wars Holiday Special reference in the last episode?

Futurama's gone on my TV until Viacom and DirecTV make up.  Looks like I'll have to bittorrent!

Support the show, buy it!  Even the episodes that are below average are worth $2 (SD) or $3 (HD) each.

That's true, although, I'm sure Viacom gets the biggest chunk of that right now, and I don't think they deserve squat.

I wish I could make out a check directly to the cast and crew.

Also true.  But I'm sure the cast and producers do get royalties.  And the more people that buy it every season the better the chances of getting more seasons made.  And thus paying the cast and crew even more.

So, no one else watching this season?

I thought last week was average, but the previous 4 in a row were outstanding.

This week was a sweet one, not quite as good as Lethal Inspection but close.

I'll have to give them all another watch or two, but so far I haven't thought much of this season. I mean, I liked the one with Hermes turning into a robot even though I didn't find it all that funny, just enjoyed the story. Though Bender's reaction to Hermes' shiny metal ass is the best moment of the season for me.

Latest episode was easily the best of the season.
