ha, yeah right!  You should know that they don't lower prices, they only raise them.

Er, the "spliced up" thing sounds like crap to me, because I just watched "Beast" on Comedy Central, and they showed it as a movie, but with credits for each part. So why the hell would they plan out this convoluted idea, and then spoil it before they sell it? They might as well cut up Back to the Future and pretend it's a TV series. Idiotic. Why didn't they ever show Bender's Big Score?

Critically, I must say the second movie (didn't see the first) was fairly... solipsistic. Why on Earth was the univeral disaster exclusive to only... Earth? They went to Kif's planet twice, but that's it. The tentacle only attacked Earth. Did the rest of the universe disappear? It didn't make any sense. Actually I remember them showing the weird blue aliens from that one episode, but they still only dwelled on Earth getting attacked.

I agree.  I can't believe they are going to cut up the movie.  Bender's Big Score is a pretty hard plot line to follow with all the concepts you have to understand.  You pretty much have to watch the whole movie to really "get it" (if thats even possible, lol)  There is almost no replayability when it is cut up in pieces.  at least with real episodes you don't have to go in any particular order, but with the movie slices, they would have to play then consecutively.  worst idea ever.  the writers are now fired.

Yeah, because nobody on TV has EVER made a show where each episode is played in sequence, almost like some sort of... serial.

Oh, wait... :P

haw haw haw

They only do that when the series is new.  After that, its just random, especially in syndication.

Honestly, you'll be lucky if they even do show the "episodes," let alone rerun them after a week.

Yeah, I was waiting for there to be a joke in one of the movies where somewhere in the middle they started showing a football game and then said "and now we bring you your regularly scheduled programming, already in progress" with a large chunk of plot cut out.

They should do a movie entirely based on the "Steamboat WIllie" spoof. That was great.
