I've enjoyed this season a lot so far! All the new seasons have really been of the same caliber of any of the prior seasons, really.  Every season had some decent episodes, great episodes, and a few fantastic episodes... as well as a couple iffy episodes thrown in here and there, and the recent (new) seasons have been about the same... So no complaints from me!!

Oh and this last episode was some good fun too.... I hope they come back to the brother sometime.

Yeah this has been a good Futurama season. I feel like the pressure's off. There's no more, "Have they lost their touch while they were cancelled?" They can relax and settle back in, and I can settle back in and enjoy. I'm watching Futurama with the same expectations that I used to, and that's a good thing. :^)

I'd probably crash if I ever read that for real on one of those electronic road signs.  That fox hunt episode had the most moments this season where you shouldn't be eating or drinking.  I almost fell out of my chair at "missed it by that much".

This season has been really good, best in a long time overall, mixing it up between sweet and hilarious.

I had a hard time buying into Naturama. I like the end-of-season anthology episodes, but this one just didn't feel as clever as the other ones are. It still brought the laughter, but it felt kind of beneath them.

I think I really liked the repeated digs at meaning and hope.

I thought they over did that just a little, a little less would have been more funny (IMHO).  It started to get predictable, therefore less funny.

As for the rock falling on the turtles causing their extinction, it was like a day later that I thought of it as an analogy for all the big impacts that have wiped out most life on the planet.  Don't know if that's what they were going for but it gave me a second laugh at that gag a day later.

I'm a big fan of the original series, the movies, and the 2010 season. But I haven't been able to get into any new episodes in two years. I just feel like Futurama has run its course.

That's probably because they haven't seemed to HAVE any new episodes in two years.

Friggin ComCen and their stupid spread-out schedules. When does this shit even air?!

There have been new episodes, but there are long gaps between seasons. Since they've come back, they only air 12 new episodes. There have been (and will be when the last episode airs) 54 new episodes.

But, believe it or not, this is a good thing. Futurama is ending gracefully after a miraculous rebirth in 2007. They got a chance to do a lot of stuff that was absolutely amazing. I'm grateful that we all got to experience it. They can leave with their heads held high knowing that they brought their creation full circle.

The new ones have been hit and miss.  I really enjoyed The Late Philip J Fry.

I think the new seasons have had pretty much the same percentage of good episodes and bad episodes as the original seasons, once you remove the original seasons' rose-tinted nostalgia goggles.

I'll miss it if it ends, but I'm glad we had a little more time with the characters.

I'm man enough to admit I cried at the end of Jurassic Bark.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.
