This new series reimagines the X-Men as 1930s underworld gangster types. Sounds kinda' weak and cliche, i know. But the first issue was actually pretty good and it looks promising. Apparently it's only a four issue run, but i'd recommend picking it up if you see a copy. Waiting for the TPB is definitely an option though, as i'm sure it will be released immediately after the series wraps up.

I'm looking forward to some of the other noir series to come out, but I'm hoping that it's not all "detectives".  Some people forget that noir is a style and can also include "people in bad situations.  I don't know if they have a Daredevil one planned, but I sort of hope it's a super-powerless story the blind lawyer (who is not moonlighting as a super-hero) gets caught up with a Gangster's moll.
