It's not a huge deal to register and download...  it's worth it.

Mmm, nah

...

Anyone want to make this available on a separate file-sharing site, and maybe password protect it for us Rifftrax folks? I can't say that i want to register at the DAP simply to leech this one file.

This, please!

Just finished watching this.  Very cool to see.  Thanks to all involved in the recording and distribution of the clip.   :highfive:

Leeching is fun!

Eh, interesting. I was kind of expecting some kind of ancient prototype of a riff, at least one joke or something. The proto-door sequance is still better then the shitty Joel/Comedy Central one.

It really shows you what Mike brought to MST3k as far as the riffing of the movie goes.  Joel seemed to be more interested in having a puppet show, and then just watching the movie.

If you're too lazy to put out the absolute minimum amount of effort to see it, then you don't deserve to.

Think of the effort on my part to travel to the con, pay to get in, secure permission to film, film and edit, and then distribute the video...  all you have to do is click, and you're the one whining?  you're exactly what is wrong with our world today... lazy ass ingrate.

Actually I don't like torrenting because it gives my ancient computer gas and despite all my best efforts I can't get any torrent client to seed things so I kind of feel like a jerk when I do it.

And, you know, if you had bothered to READ THE REST OF THE THREAD you'd have found out I went ahead and torrented it anyway.

After downloading the uTorrent file, it says it's 'seeding'.. What does seeding do, and how can I burn this to DVD??

DVD Flick can't do anything with it ???

Seeding simply means you are uploading parts needed to people out there downloading. It's doing your part in the grand scheme of sharing the DAP files. To burn it to a DVD, you'll need a program like Nero or something that can burn an ISO file to a DVD. As I mentioned above, DVD Decrypter is free and does a fine job.

I have never, EVER downloaded anything from bitTorrent that was easy.  They've all been a pain in the ass - either waiting for seeds, dealing with the space they take up on the hard drive as if it's all there even though there's less than one percent so that you can't use that space for anything else....

And then, "yeah, you can download this but only if you have certain P2P..."

Format wars are for corporations who want to screw us out of our money.

Hmm.. Nero doesn't see any ISO files from the downloaded file when I try to open it..

The downloaded file saved in my folder says it's a 2KB Torrent file, and cannot be opened with DVD Flick nor Nero..

Am I missing a step(s) somewhere??
