Video Association
« on: September 03, 2008, 03:19:00 PM »
Ok so TeamRad's last post in Word Association gave me an idea:

Here's how the game works.

I post a vid, then you go find a vid on youtube or somewhere like that that somehow is associated with the one I posted. And so on with that next vid.

Ok so to embed the youtube vids you need to get the long string of code that looks like this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Ok so simply take the web address

http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&hl=en&fs=1

And place it between the flash code:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1</a>

Now you just have to change the size of the vid to 400,400, which I've done below :)

So lets start with TR's post from the originating thread:

Melt Banana....
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/xsiht-Be_Rg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/xsiht-Be_Rg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1</a>

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/Bs0WCUZqoJg&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1</a>

How do you video embed.  They don't seem to have buttons for that anymore

And keeping with the theme of  'taking all expectations and standing them on their heads' :

here's a liitle slice of hell, or should I say Hell's Kitchen, mixed in w/ just a dash of Swedish Chef lunacy...

One of her many co-stars, Danny DeVito, out on his own, as Oswald Cobblepot in 'Batman Returns'

...and best of all, the title of the vid is 'I'll Murder you Momentarily'

Here's the trailer for Backbeat.  It was about The Beatles and their time in Germany and mostly about John's relationship with Stuart Sutcliffe.  I think this might be the movie where we learn John Lennon is a wee little fellow and Paul McCartney is waaaaaay taller than him.

Well if violence begets violence, then free hugs begets... more hugs I suppose.
