John From Cincinnatti.  If the removal of that show from existance gave even a remote chance that Deadwood could have come back for a fourth season, it would be worth it.

I second that motion even though I was one of the four people who liked John From Cincinnati.  I'd much rather have more Deadwood.

Another show I'd like to go back and abort would be "In living color".

Asides from being a hateful show that made fun of handicapped people, the homeless, etc and was produced by scymbags with no schred of human decency, it launched the careers of those scumbags and they ended up doing "scary movie".

So, eliminate "ILC" and there would have never been "scary movie" or it's ripoffs. Wow what a deal!

I'll be off working on a time machine....

I'm in a hard spot here. On one hand, I'd love to eliminate The Hills from existence. But on the other hand, I wouldn't be able to reference "feathers" as a tool to evoke laughter at any given moment.

So I'll stick with the latter, The Hills is still alive...

I love feathers.

Since somebody already said Friends, I'll go with Will & Grace.  That show always sticks with me, because it's not like one of those shows where I think "why did someone think this is funny?".  I mean, the jokes were well-written, the cast was pretty talented... it just... never made me laugh.   I don't know why.  Everything just sorta fell flat.

Hmmmm.....

I'd do the world a favor and eliminate the CW network from existence.

Really, you can't make me choose just one show from that channel.  The entire programming line up is dreadful.

Does this include the WB?

Think I'll go with Lexx.  It was bizarre enough to keep me watching, but in a rubber necking at a car crash way, the time wasted could have been better spent.   ;D

I would go back and eliminate the original "Battlestar Galactica".....

For all of the sci-fi shows that never made it on to the air because the Suits decided that if a show with SFX from someone who worked on Star Wars couldn't make it.....

And for the fact that NBC wouldn't take a series based on "V - The Miniseries" then when it would have made sense but waited until after "V - The Final Battle" which is why the series they did make sucked so badly.

Or even the ones that did eventually make it onto the air (like "Max Headroom: Twenty Minutes Into the Future") and then got micromanaged and given seconds to succeed and then pulled when they couldn't live up to impossible criteria of ratings.

Plus it threw all the new Star Treks on to syndication where - except for most of TNG - they could suck and there was little or no consequence.  Plus they had other lousy shows ("War of the Worlds") piggybacked onto the air.....\

The failure of that plotless piece of shit has tainted every sci-fi show since.

Yep WB and UPN two iffy networks that suck worse together.

Leave my "Smallville" alone.    :P
