New releases

Looks like Legend's got some new stuff lined up (and reissues of older titles as well).

Is the bit about The Last Man on Earth being in full screen a mistake? I hope Legend didn't colorize a panned-and-scanned print. That would be disastrous for their image.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Good question. I doubt that's the case... but I'll find out  for sure tomorrow.

It's interesting that the artwork for Bride of the Monster has the Paramount logo. I knew that they reissued Glen or Glenda during the 1980s, but I didn't know that they owned the rights to any of Wood's films. In any case, it's great to see Legend releasing another Ed Wood title. Hope that there will be more on the way. 8)

Is Mike riffing on any of these, by any chance?

I don't think that's a complete list though. I noticed last week that Legend was releasing a colorized copy of "Holiday Inn" in mid-october and that doesn't show up in that list.

Looks like a pretty nice reissue of it too.

Amazon still says that the aspect ratio for Last Man on Earth will be 1.33:1. Any word yet?

That is a misprint, both color and black & white features are in widescreen format. It was actually printed wrong on the packaging as well, but I assure you, these are not pan and scan features. .
Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

That's because it's not a Legend release, that's Paramount I believe.

So how much further back does this new DVD of Bride of the Monster put back the release of the MST3K episode by Shout! Factory, do you think?

Universal, actually. But I'm seeing a number of places say that Legend did the colorization of it.

Not at all, the movie (as of this writing) is PD.
