The Harry Potter movies are seriously some of the funniest riffs they have done... and they went all out on 'Prisoner'... loved it.

I feel the same way. This was the weakest of the three but that's because the other two were so brilliant. Prisoner is a huge improvement over their other recent work. They seem to do really well with sequels (with the possible exception of the X-Men, which wasn't great). But Star Wars and Trek, Matrix and Potter are all well done. I as well can't wait for the next Potter...and the final Matrix....and Episode IV of Star Wars...and Star Trek: First Contact.

I adore the Potter movies, and I'm waiting on this from Netflix to get codin'. Love the avatar, Anti.

Now my most anticipated riffs are the rest of the Harry Potter movies and the Matrix Revolutions.

I like when they do sequels. I think it's largely because you have stuff to build off of then, and can extend running jokes further without it feeling shoe-horned in. That and the jokes about Satanic worship in the Harry Potter movies make me laugh my ass off for some reason.

Same here. I love the constant jokes about devil worshiping by witches and such. Makes me laugh everytime.

I think that Stone and Chamber were reasonably streamlined, but Azkaban tried to cram a lot into their screentime, winding up with an end product that was neither coherent, nor compact.

Wow... what an amazing display of riffing. I feel so privileged to be alive in this era.

A friend and I are writing an iRiff for it. I'm not trying to plug that because it's only about 1/4 written. But I'd be really angry if Mike, Kevin, and Bill riffed it first. I'm kinda worried that if I saw a Rifftrax to that, it would skew what I had not yet written. OR, if there were similar riffs, that I'd be accused of stealing from them even if it were only really a case of great minds thinking alike.

I'd suggest that they -will- riff it, and probably fairly soon--the new HP is due out in July. Expect it before then.
And if you're going to be angry about it, I'd suggest you stop writing yours and do something else.

I'm not that worried. I'd guess like 3-6 months before they riff it. If my friend and I can't have our own written by then, I obviously bit off way more than I can chew by trying a feature film before doing a short or something.
If it came out, like, next week, THEN I'd be a rather bad mood. But I don't see that happening. ^_^

If it does come out sooner than later you could also try to take advantage of the opportunity and piggy-back your own release along with the "official" one. You'll catch the re-author/completest market with its pants down.
