Has anyone ever thought of riffing a Beatles movie?

No, although I've heard of a 'Village People' movie that should be right up someone's alley.

Has anyone ever thought of riffing a Beatles movie?

Hmm. If memory serves, Beatles movies are either incredibly horrifyingly boring, or so trippy and ridiculous that making fun of it is an exercise in futility.
"Hard Day's Night" doesn't fit either category (it's actually really good).  However, in the case of the "Sgt. Pepper" movie, it's both.  Horrifyingly both.

Sgt. Pepper is a Robert Stigwood movie, which happened to have some Beatles music in it.   It is possibly the result of swimming in LSD for a few weeks.

You might want to check out the great literal music video Dascottjr made for Penny Lane, if you haven't already. Someone else made one for Strawberry Fields Forever too. It's pretty good, but not as good as Penny Lane is. Dascottjr might be the best literal video guy ever.

Agreed.  His "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is the second one to ever go viral.  Here's the thread about this.

I don't know if even a fantastic riff could make me watch this through but I'd give it a shot.

Is Juno riffable? I ask because I have a friend who really likes the movie and I haven't seen it.

Juno might be riffable. I remember screaming in anger at the screen a few times.  Some of the characters are interesting but it's so tragically hip and horrible.

Ya'know..
Since this Multi-faceted Star Trek Voyager project is going so well, I request the Same Treatment be given to The ORIGINAL Battlestar Gallactica series from 1978!! Shocked
It was only on for 1 season anyway (not counting the 1980 resurrection flop)..

That movie annoys me for the simple fact that Ellen Page got so much publicity about being able to spew pages of hip, witty dialogue, and while I'm sure that's true in Juno, I'm like, 'SHE DID THE SAME GODDAMN THING NOT TWO YEARS EARLIER IN HARD CANDY!!!' i guess that just always frustrates the shit out of me, when people don't seem to notice things that seem really obvious to me.

Juno's screenwriter seems awesome, though. Heard an interview with her and was like, 'I want to be her friend.'

Has anyone ever tried taking on the Wizard of Oz? Its such a classic and so rife for riffing.  I'd give a shot myself save for my lack of the proper tech and lisp :p

Wizard of Oz was one I was hoping Rifftrax would do at some point.  Maybe if they continued their "Rifftrax Challenge" series....although with the weird characters and story I don't think it really is much of a challenge.

Someone should take on the episodes of Lost/Grey's Anatomy/Heroes that haven't been done. I'd like to get some use out of those other 6 dvds in the Lost and Heroes sets...

I've suggested this as well and I still think it's a good idea. Don't forget about that Incredible Hulk series from the 70's.
