I've been redoing my Futurama dvd covers (I put them all into 14-mm 4-disc amarays, and I plan to do the same with the movies) and looking online for Futurama art.

There's a SHOCKING amount of futurama porn out there.  I don't really get it.

Anyway, there's also some cool stuff. Like this.

I'll probably have to just go dig out my season sets from storage and scan in those images since High Res ones aren't easy to find.

Wow. Alan Moore's beard just burst into flames.  Cheesy

What's wrong with the original packaging? I quite like it. (I wish the movies weren't in such flimsy cardboard cases, though.)

Nothing -wrong- with it per se (the art is beautiful), but I try to consolidate space in my dvd cabinet as much as possible. All the Seinfeld seasons went into the multi-disc amarays, all the Simpsons seasons did, etc.

Plus, with Groening on his carbon-neutral kick, I want a case that actually protects the disc instead of scratching it.  Plus, yeah, the outer sleeve.

The Blu-ray releases have been in plastic, so there's that. I wouldn't mind a remastered Blu-ray Futurama set.

That would be a good way to get me to buy the series again. (As it is, I'm tempted to plunk down for the Bender's Head boxset...)

Anybody else want a CD of Christopher Tyng's Futurama music?

Yeah those movie cases are pretty fucking annoying.  Can't wait to see what kind of crappy cases they use for the new season box sets when those get released.

I imagine they'll probably be crammed into a 14mm case like the most recent Family Guy and American Dad releases.

Yes. I want a 6-CD set with ALL his Futurama music, and alternate takes. Somebody call La-Land Records, they've done a great job with Shirley Walker's music for Batman: The Animated Series....

I'd buy it. I hope they include the music he did for the video game too.

I started a CD a while ago of all the Futurama songs, ala "Go Simpsonic."  I got through Season 1, I think.

I don't have server space anywhere.

I just checked--I have 8 songs, clocking in at 11:45 total time, and that counts an "extended" 3 minute main theme.  The last one I did was Hermes' Groove.  I'll have to get back to these someday.
