Hi! I just rented the Cloverfield DVD, and it syncs for the first 2 minutes or so, but then the sync is noticeably off from thereafter.
I've tried setting the movie to the chapters shown in the readme file, as well as some of the Disembaudio lines, but I keep getting the same result - 2 minutes or so later, the jokes seem to come in way late, and the movie is about a good 30 seconds or so ahead of the rifftrax.
Is it possible I'm watching an extended version of the movie? Or is there some setting I'm not aware of for the DVD? I've looked all over the box, but nothing that hints at an "extended" or "never before seen" version of the movie...
I'm using the MP3 right now, but I'm going to see if it does the same thing on the RiffTrax Player (once I manage to get it running...)
Any help would be ever so rocking :)
Also, not sure if this is supposed to go under this category or Technical Support...
Is it possible you downloaded the wrong region version of the Rifftrax? NTSC is for U.S./Canada, PAL is for Europe (or maybe more: I don't remember offhand). In short, if you're in America, you want the NTSC: make sure that's the one you have.
If that isn't it, someone else will be along shortly to assist you.
The only reason you should be experiencing the issues you're describing is if you are using the PAL version of the MP3 when you're supposed to be using the NTSC one. Please verify that your DVD is NTSC, (if you live in America or Canada, there shouldn't be an issue.)
Also, the other way this could happen is if you try to synch the movie to a downloaded copy, in which case, there's nothing we can really offer in terms of making it work.
actually that may not be the issue since there's no PAL version out yet
