Thoughts on Mike and Co.'s performance. Any favorite lines?
"Wow, the new model Camaro which is crapper and worth less!"
So far this is my favorite line but I've only seen the sample clip
Thought: I just downloaded it and I have to say I'm not digging the new music for the opening.
I like that they are already making fun of the huge amounts of product placement in the film and it's only the sample. (the burger king comment, I realize that the movie does in fact need automobiles)
My favorite lines were right at the end...
"We're not watching this!!"
"Are you guys still here?!?"
"Of course they're still here."
I was rolling.
People that liked this movie then went out and listened to the rifftrax for it probably feel very silly. This rifftrax was awesome! "Law enforcement officers encourage yelling and running away as way of communicating your innocence."
I am so happy they made fun of the girl for always having her mouth open haha
"Wow, he's must be part bird."
"Apparently"
"We can call it Sam's Happy Time!"
... or LeBeouf strokingoff! :rimshot:
I'll never look at stroganoff the same way again.
I'm sure I came close to waking up my roommates several times trying to control my laughter. All around great Rifftrax.
Had me right from the start
"In association with HASBRO"
"That's all the Academy Award Committee needs to know."
"Go to Hell, Michael Bay"

Agreed! Bill's whole rant about her hunting for krill and whatnot had me rolling.
"Darn, they float."

Yes, funny line. Of course, they should have expected it though, because crap does float. :rimshot:
"We got betrayed by Magatron, the leader of the Decepticons."
"Not the leader of the Trustworthicons."
Do I have time to light a bum on fire? Probably not.
Mike, Kevin, Bill, thank you for making Transformers watchable.
(The scene where Jon Voight breaks the glass case containing the guns)
'First the guns...next to free the turtles!!'
(Or when he comes into the room with the Aussie gal)
'You're coming with me. You're going to be my advisor.'
'Pervert.'
(With that scene, I always riffed the line, 'oh, advisor, so THAT'S what you're calling 'them' these days.')
Also, nice riff on how Sam Witwicky can't even seem to complete a full sentence without stuttering:
'So what, they paid him by the syllable?'
Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...Missster Anderson...
Was there a Crow T. Robot reference in the riff there somewhere, I think I may have heard one, an actual reference to Crow
"Crap, they float"
there were some definite classic lines there, I'm just surprised no one riffed on the fact that Hugo "Agent Smith" Weaving voiced Megatron....
"Missster Prime....we missed you!"
Is Missster Weaving *ever* going to live that character down? ;)
I was also expecting at least one Borg reference in the opening of the movie when the Borg Cube....errr...AllSpark (what is that, some kind of robot cooking spice or something) was floating through space

I sure hope not!
Sooooooo many good lines in this riff. My favorite few:
*Shia and Megan looking up at the sky.*
"Surrender Dorothy...wha...?"
and
"Crap, they float!"
"Im in ur vents, steeling ur ac."
And the comments about how Shia just.wont.shut.up. My God, that kid rambles.
way too many to name or ramble off.
Barack Obama is pissed!
Phoebe Cates, eat your heart out!
"Okay, Bugs, this is NOT a good time."
"By 'engine' I mean 'genitals,' in case that slipped by you."
The Popeye imitations.
"Mister AndersonMister Anderson Mister Anderson Mister AndeMister Anderson Mister Anderson"

Did anybody else have problems distiguishing the robot from Mike on some of those. I was rolling.
"Do you take Linden Dollars?"
one of my co-workers is an unabashed Second Life fan, he got a kick out of my paraphrased retelling of the riff....
the bewilderment caused by the Day-For-Night chase scene between Barricade and Ichneumon Wasp was also quite amusing
"Optometrist Prime"
I just realized that if the chick who played Willow in Wicker Man and Shia LeBeauf could somehow, someway, hook up and have a kid, we could be treated to the world's most perpetually confounded-looking child.
My thought is, "Is Shia gonna play the same worthless sack of a character in Indiana Jones 4?"
Has he ever played any other charicter? I only saw him in I, Robot before this. Same guy, trying to stuff the word count of 12 Angry Men into every scene he plays in.
"I NEVER COME HERE WITH BINOCULARS!"
"I've heard of negative feedback . . ."
"Don't tase me, bro!"
"That was my first time transforming without looking at my directions!"
"It says, 'All your base are belong to us.'"
"Leave the girl with us, and find those glasses!"
"Don't taze me, bro!"
i did a spit take on that one.
An Old Weird Harold reference! Boy, did that bring back memories. :D I practically had my dad's entire Cosby record collection memorized by the time I was ten.
"Fecal Puck.." :P
Nuf Said! :D :D
Robots in disguise!
Been a busy week. finally got my 'take (http://www.rifftraxfan.com/reviews2007.html#46)' and free preview (http://www.rifftraxfan.com/rifferbreakdown.html) posted
"The weird parkour fad is baffling to me."
"This is kind of like what the Beijing Opening Ceremony is gonna look like."
"I have some feedback about the length of my pant hem." They went all-out with the obscure cultural references in this one. ;D
How's your peripheral vision, there, Joe?
I'll never be able to hear the legendary "One shall stand, one shall fall" phrase again without laughing now.

Aye. Twas not the line itself, but the fine additional verse Mike and crew added to it.
I forgot one: "While my Qatar gently weeps."
Holy crap ... so many hilarious lines.
"Asteroids brought to you by Atari!"
"Hawk!! Er.. Hawks!!!"
We have a blown transformer here!
- "I wish!"
"What do you think, secret government agency, or hip-hop funeral?"
"Mr Anderson!"
"Mister Anderson!"
"Mr Anderson!"
Optimus: "Get out of my car!"
Bill: "And into my dreams!"
Yeah, there've been a lot of great rifftrax lately, but this one was pretty packed from start to finish with awesome lines.
Sometimes a good riff about one movie is made in regards to another movie.
From the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Rifftrax:
Quote from: Jinto on November 30, 2007, 01:47:49 PM

Mike: "It's like that movie where everything transformed."
Kevin: "Transformers?"
Mike: "No, no, that was about a kid who got caught masturbating."
Hopefully the Dinobots are in the next movie so we can hear great lines like:
"Me Grimlock want to munch metal!"
and
"Me Grimlock not bozo, me king!"

I know
that, but I was confused as to why "Lines spoken by Transformers" would be mentioned in a thread about our "favorite lines from the riffers."
Besides, knowing Mikey Bay, the Dinobots will be in it ... but only for a second, during a brief flashback or cameo.

Yes, but the thread is also a "Thoughts" thread.
Oh yeah. I curse the one who combined two subjects into one thread!

My bad, someone PM'd me and thought 2 seperate threads was redundant. If I start them for future movies, I'll leave them seperate.
Eh, it's no biggie. You're right though. It is kind of a gray area.
Sam? Mr Hagar, I told you to stay out of our Attic.

The bit with the over-eager official in the background. ("Can I help?") It reminded me so much of the old MST3K style.
The overlong rambling conversations that have come to be my least favorite part of Rifftrax (I'll make one up: "So, Mike, that truck sure has tires. Remember when we went go-karting?" "Well, sure. It was so crazy that we had so much fun." "Crazy fun! Ah, the days that we spent go-karting!" "Yes, very good." etc.) were a bit better in this as well.
What about "PUNCH BUGGY YELLOW!"
"oh crap, they float"
All the quatar jokes were great too

I guarentee you this video has more pulse pounding robot action in it than Bay's Transformers.
This was one of the best ones yet in my opinion. Granted, my knowledge so far is only this, the Star Wars installments, and Spider-Man...
"Pop up pictures killed my dad."
"Shia is your guy-a."
"See you in Maxim."
"Tarantula-Wasp! NO!"
"Reeee-cycle. Meeee." ;D
Just read my new Location for my fave line.
His last words were "Oh my gosh, this helicopter is a robot in disguise!"
Ah, Schrodinger's pop quiz.
Horatio Sans is firing up the crock pot.
Ron Paul will get elected when giant robots fall from the -AAH!!
Personal favorite:
"Well hey everybody, it's me, Bladey, the decapitating blade sprite! HahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAGGHH AH GOD THIS MOVIE'S KILLING ME!!!!" Plus the whole excahnge between Kevin and Bill that follows.
Also:
"Slow motion dives, the textured vegetable protein of action movies."
"I don't know what I been told, Michael Bay movies are really...good."
I laughed for five whole minutes at the part where Bill starts shooting at Mike for buying his nephew a Transformers toy.
I don't think there was a single joke that didn't get at least a chuckle from me,this one was right up there with TSWHS.
So many great lines. Just off the top of my head:
'Get off the road fat-ass'
The blown Transformer
'Think I have time to light a bum on fire? Nah.'
'Hottie, you're good too. Stick around.'
'I think Ted Bundy had some luck with that line'
Bill's rant about about Megan Fox's perpetually open mouth.
And my current favorite:
The 'Fix You' bit during the final battle.

Despite Ironman proving otherwise,Michael Bay is under the opinion that solid bodied robots look fake. I think it's doubtless we'll see anything on par with Ironman vs. Iron Monger in the sequel.
The mom: were you masturbating?
Kevin: Well the screen writer was.
The mom: Gosh, you're gorgeous.
Mike: I go both ways.
Fat guy with video phone: I swear to god!
Kevin: And my god is bacon!
Bill: He's our sassyest autobot.
Optimus: Our planet was once a powerful empire.
Bill: Called hell!
Bill: If you'll excuse me, I have to go bite Kramer's arm.
Optimus: Pleaese hurry!
Bill: I have a hot date with a back hoe, if you know what I mean.
Optimus: Autobots, fall back.
Bill: Jazz, you fall bis-ack.
Mike: God, is he paid by the syllable?
Mike: we inject it with the Vista operating system, and, well, you can see the results.
Bill: Petey the tank reporting. Vroom vroom, tankity tank tank, tank tankity tank.
Mike: MIlton the truck present and accounted for.
There's one line from this film that I just thought was overwhelmingly terrible. I've attempted to put it into it's proper context here:
^ Nice!
Love the track, but I was surprised none of them commented on how all of the actors were instructed to act like everything going on around them was the greatest cinematic experience ever:
"Oh my God!" "That was incredible" "Did you see that with the thing and the wooshwooshwoosh?" "This is so much cooler than Armageddon!"
Like Bay wanted the actors to constantly stroke his ego.
I think that's not all they stroked. Failed attempt at comic reliefe guy and candy-necklace-wearing jock boy must have done a lot of "hard work" to get their parts.
