Hey all from a fan in Japan. Currently hear teaching English before returning to Canada next year. Although I have known of this site for a few months I just started downloading...well, EVERYTHING! Thank you fine Rifftrax folks for keeping the greatness that is MST3k alive. I remember sitting back watching old B-movies on MST tapes and talking to my friends how great it would be if Mike and the guys riffed on modern films and now we got it!
Thus far I have to say my favorite track is Willy Wonka. I was sure I'd love the tracks with all three MST alumnus but Doogie won my over. I love when the guys are dark (as they were on some of the MST shorts) and all of Wonka is riffed in that style. The next one would be Star Wars Episode 1. As much of a fan as I am of the Star Wars franchise, the prequel trilogy is terrible and deserved this treatment. "Would you just shut your hole!" That line...I had to pause the track.
So, when free time allows from my traveling about the land of the rising sun (and home of Gamera, my friends) I will be adding my own fan art and hope that Rifftrax keeps going strong!
Watch out for snakes!
EXCELLENT!!
WELCOME ABOARD!

But really, can you blame NMCB? Who wouldn't be nervous, what with such a
stellar marvelous cast of characters that make up theses forums? :rimshot:
Greetings and Salutations New-Member Type Personage, feel free to walk quietly among other members of these forums, but know their power for they are your rivals. Quietly crush them as you work diligently through the night. Pay attention to the Platypus behind the curtain, for he is your ally. Drink deeply and lustfully from the foamy draught of Evil that is Tarantulas... Here take these items and use them to aid you in your toils... *Gives NummyMuffinCoCoButter a Smoking Jacket (with several packets of designer smoke), a Mexican Jumping Bean-Bag Chair , and a tin of freshly made Artificial Demon Dog Cookies, made with Genuine Artificial Demon Dogs* ...and Uh, do it to the other guy before he does it to you, and be bad to the bone. Won't you? Thank you...

The poor Japanese I am sending down the wrong path. Do you blame me, though? Was it not them that gave us Gamera vs. Zigra? :p

I is in Nara, Japan on a one year contract. I's alsos types on such forums at a very early hour and, thus, am open to errors to be exploited by vile spelling hawks. Rifftrax is keeping me sane in these hot, Japanese summer months.
I bet the big fish markets smell wonderful on a summer afternoon.
Me fail English. That's unpossible.

Is that where they slaughter the dolphins?
Quote from: Thom_ServeauxIs that where they slaughter the dolphins?
Yeah! And just for fun... they make a day out of it with their kids.

PS- WTF?
My bad, It was in the villages of Taiji and Futo. It is an annual event that takes place, and recently it has also been discovered that some of the dolphins that are rounded up go to marine parks due to an marked increase in those 'swim with dolphins' programs.....
Why do I get the feeling that this guy is a vegetarian?
Okay, if I am going to make it big with the Rifftraxers I am going to need to know a few things about these forums? Who are the daily posters? Whose ass do I have to kiss? Who can be shunned? Do Mike or any other riffers ever pay a visit? Can I post nude?
Me, Me, Me, Yes, Yes.

It's great to know an MST3K fan is in Japan. The show's popularity knows no bounds! I'm surprised no one has yet taken the name of Joike yet.
I really should have called myself Jet Jaguar! :p

Hey Nummymuffincocobutter, did you feel the earthquake where you are?
I only felt it for about five seconds. It felt more like a big truck passing by outside then, say, Rosie O'Donnell on her way to the fridge. I did get a mighty blast of that typhoon, though.

That Rosie remark was Classic!! :D :D :D
I was in a 5.4 magnitude earthquake back on Jan. 1, 2004 in Acapulco, Mexico. It was Very Impressive for a moderate quake (and being my 1st ever experienced)!
Also was in Charleston, SC when Hurricane Hugo bowled into the city as a Category 4 storm back in Sept. 1989.
Anyway, Congrats on surviving both!

I've experienced a weakening hurricane that hit the Connecticut coast in 1985 and an even more rare earth tremor that rocked a garage door but I hope to GOD I never have to witness, never mind experience, Rosie O'Donnell!
