Have seen this movie at least a half dozen times now - KTMA episode at least 4 times over the years, the Rifftrax release once, and now episode 1309 - still have no idea what's going on in the movie 90+% of the time. Movie has nothing going for it to deserve a 3rd riff. Would rate KTMA 1, Rifftrax 2, 1309 3 for riffing. Riffs broke no new ground and there were times where the delivery came across as just reading lines - yeah riffs have been scripted since KTMA but when done well they shouldn't come across as sounding so forced. I also think it's time to re-eliminate the invention exchange - seems to be just checking a box of things to do in non-Joel episodes. Didn't dislike it as much as Demon Squad - just really dislike that movie - but not one of the episodes I plan to rewatch any time soon. Overall I am enjoying Emily and that crew far more than Jonah and this one this season.
I thought it was better than the KTMA one.
I thought this episode was so good that it's my sixth favorite episode of all time, right behind

4. Pod People
3. San Francisco International
2. Santa Claus
1. The Final Sacrifice.
Great Riffs, riffable movie, even the host segments were great!

Of course better than KTMA. About as good as the rifftrax version. A solid one like Gamera, but I have to say I'm confused. This is Jonah's 6th riff so that means Emily will riff the Bubble? Since Joel is doing the Xmas show as we already know that means he is doing only 2 riffs? I thought he was in for 3.

That's great. I wanted to see Joel do the Bubble. But that means Jonah had 6 to Emily's 5 riffs and I would have preferred them even. Especially since I like Emily and her crew more.
I thought all 3 were doing the Xmas episode (Joel, Jonah, and Emily,). Not sure how that's going to work, but almost positive that was communicated at some point.

Correct. I wonder if they will do segments and then all together in the fourth?
