Post discussions of season 12 episode 5 here. Title and first post to be edited to allow people to discover the episodes for themselves.
I had read a semi-spoiler that there was only 1 cameo this season and my first thought was that it was going to be who it was. But then the semi-spoiler went on to say that they were totally surprised by who it was without naming them, so I was hoping for Mike Cameo was OK as it make more sense than many of the ones from Season 11, but it wasn't Mike.
I'm surprised that 'puta' wasn't edited out like various other curse words have been this season. Good fun episode, particularly loved the Gblblblblblbb, with the shower and the boombox. And Growlers Universal Studios bit.
They probably didn't know what "puta" meant (it means whore). Or they figured so few people watching would know that it wasn't worth the trouble.
The song was so great.

Although I also don't know the rules for censorship when it is a foreign word.
I love the Time Microwave invention exchange. It feels very Muppet Labs.
I thought the riffing of the episode was great, even if the song during one of the sequences felt forced and unnatural. That being said, I loved seeing my name in the credits!
I don't know if I've ever been so confused about the plot of the movie. I know there's a heist, killerfish, and a sinking boat.

I think you got it!
If I follow it, the smug bearded thief hid the jewels underwater until the heat was off so it could be picked up at a safe point in time. Then, to avoid double-crosses, and without telling his cohorts, he filled the lake with Piranhas, with some sort of secret way of neutralizing them when the time came. A couple of them went for it, got eaten by the titular fish, and caused a lot of trust issues in the ranks. Where I lose track of things is why they ended up having to get the jewels early, or how the fashion shoot got wrapped up in it. Ultimately, they try to get the jewels, and everyone gets stranded on the sinking boat in a lake full of fish that kill, and then some double-crosses happen.
I actually kind of dug the plot. It's different and kind of reminded me of the Lupin III anime, which I adore.

Clearly you didn't watch the previous episode.
Piranhas get a bad rap. Yes, they will attack people sometimes, but you're more likely to be killed by a shark than a piranha. And you're more likely to be killed by a vending machine than a shark ;)

I did but I was very drunk at the time.

And just like that, the Asylum puts another movie into production... VENDCANO

That's just silly. It's VENDSHARK! The vending machine that shoots sharks at unsuspecting customers.
Stop recommending better movies than Asylum can produce. I'm all aboard for a vending-monster subgenre.

In all honesty though that sounds more like a Nintendo franchise.
Also down for that.
As am I.

It was pretty coherent and well acted compared to everything else offered. And it's so nice to appreciate the lack of silicone in any of the actresses. Just normal attractiveness missing in many modern day productions. I enjoyed the song during the underwater scene. Actually I thought the pacing and jokes themselves were a step above the previous movies.
Love the reference to Black and the Zuni doll thing. NIce to see someone still remembers that one.

I thought their knock off of Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer was a good effort. Millard Fillmore, Zombie Hygienist had a nice ring to it and had an oft overlooked historical figure to boot.
Almost as funny as the Day Time Ended but not quite.
The went easy on Hemingway, given her tragic life story and not even a mention of grandfather Papa?
The ep was nearly a musical. Gypsy's number is one of the highlights of the season. Really funny and well-timed.
