Title: What knowledge invaded you here?
Post by: Trekker4747 on February 09, 2018, 07:33:26 PM
This was one I knew was going to be "rough" so it's one I first half-watched with it on in the background.  Will go back and watch it with full attention later as I glimpsed some moments in it where I can get through it.  But I did learn some things!

Your "Invasion of the Animal People" need not contain those things.  We got "a" animal person and, he does almost nothing.  Certainly no invading.

This movie was quite risque for it's time.  A bare knee!  Whooo!

I learned that when someone steals your skis, leaving you to walk through a mile of snow in ski boots, it's funny.

I learned that Berserker: Hell's Warrior is so much worse compared to this that it gets skipped over when creating posts... :P

I learned that old John Carradine looks like he's standing next to an old telephone switchboard during the introduction to the movie!

Some people think cutting someone's break lines are a murder attempt. But some of us have a sense of humor and call them pranks. Nothing wrong with dodging oncoming traffic. It keeps you on your toes.  :D

I learned John Carradine would wander around random movie lots until someone felt compelled to hire him for a day's work. Probably for beer money. I guess it was a living.

I learned you can just follow people around to random locations for 45 minutes and label it building suspense. Not even build any character development in that time. Kind of hard to avoid it, but they managed it somehow.

I learned the aliens in Starship Invasions tried a lot harder than these ones. One giant bipedal Snuffleupagus that is easily destroyed by fire? *sigh*

And what did the weird lights and that girl at the start have to do with anything? I need knowledge to understand, dangit!
