It's pretty funny watching Dave try to crack the whip.
I have been watching a bunch of old Letterman lately. Especially from his Late Night days. By the time I started watching him, I was about ten or eleven, and he'd already moved to CBS by then. His 12:30 show, though, I really have to respect it, back in the 80s there really WASN'T anything else like that on TV. I see so much of what he did back then and think of how at home on Youtube a lot of it would be today.
I knew how to crack a whip when I was like eight or nine years old, though. My dad actually BOUGHT me one. We were at a yard sale and there was one for sale and I was way into like Castlevania and later Indiana Jones, and it was only a couple bucks so he got it for me. I spent just HOURS outside playing Simon Belmont with it. My brother sold me this black one, too, once. Which, I was just a kid at the time, I didn't realize it was an S&M whip! In retrospect, though, it kinda makes me wonder what HE was doing with it, though. . .
