I learned that this dude's Batman is still way better than Val Kilmer's, a 1940s coupe is a better "Batmobile" than the one in "Batman Forever" or "Batman and Robin" and that you can apparently land a plane via remote control without any visual input.
Capes get in the way of fighting bad guys. One of the bad guys grabbed Robin's cape that threw him off balance until a quick edit saved him.
Suburbanites in the 40s had butlers.

Meanwhile in Stately Wayne Man..., er, Modest Three Bedroom, Two-and-Half Bath, Colonial.
I had to watch the scene where the gangsters get to the island base (after the submarine) a second time before I realized that the scene of them materializing was supposed to be the Wizard using his device to see through the rock (presumably with X-Rays or something), and not the gangsters being teleported! It was really confusing at first!
Gabe is the Wizard's favorite henchman.
YEAH, GABE!!

Yeah, I was lost on that myself at first.
I learned that Robin must go out of his way to do things with Batman. Even though he knew about the Bat-signal, was already dressed as Robin, and didn't leave, he still he to get changed into a suit and store his outfit in the filing cabinet... just so he could get his outfit again moments later at the same time as Batman.
