Title: Seltzer and Friedberg are at it again
Post by: Zeether on June 07, 2013, 03:51:10 PM
This time with an awful Hunger Games "parody" movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWqxuheHpPU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWqxuheHpPU)

They must have scrapped that 3D movie and just put that dumb Avatar segment in as a reference to it. I can't believe I bothered to watch the trailer.

I'm not one to judge others for their taste in film or comedy, but I seriously can't believe they thought "From the guys who brought you Meet the Spartans and Vampires Suck" would be a selling point for anybody.

The video is no longer up due to copywrite claims? I can't believe even the makers of these movies care about them that much.

I heard that Vampires Suck is actually their "best work" mainly because it actually has focus.   I'll be skipping this one just like the rest.

Reuploaded trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYP7L6mFr_0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYP7L6mFr_0)

Funny thing is the uploader got one of their comments downvoted for saying "It looks bad, but that's usually what the people who make these types of movies aim for. It's meant to make fun of these things, and it does. :)"

Sigh.

And now they're doing "Super Fast!" a Fast and Furious-y movie. I'm one of those who thought Vampires Suck was more watchable due to its tighter focus, so maybe this won't suck.

Then again, Meet the Spartans had a tight focus too and it did.
