No announcements yet or anything, it just showed up on the main Rifftrax page.
It's a few bucks more expensive than other VODs, licensing fees?
Yay, yay, this is the only Rifftrax show I've missed. Yay.
Yeah I bought it late last night and will watch it tonight after work
If there's rights issues keeping this live riff from being released on a solid, physical DVD.... Is there a way someone can work up a full-sezed DVD case COVER that looks similar to all the other Rifftrax Live DVD's? I don't mind the download to burn thing at all, but it will mess up the natural flow of my DVD shelf next to the others without a cover that looks official like the others.

So the standard emo-black case not good enough for ya, eh?? 8)

Same here, watched it last night after working late.
Nice that there are a lot of different riffs vs. the studio version.
Exactly! In fact, I think I'll watch it again tonight ;D
Well, did you?
I watched it again with headphones and got to hear all the riffs this time.
I've watched the DVD many times now and I swear this is a slightly different cut of the movie. I wasn't sure the first time but after the second viewing I really think there are several small bits (a few seconds) here and there extra in this cut.

Awaiting dinner from Five Guys, then it's SHOW TIME! 8)
They actually left out several of my favorite lines, which bugged me. But they added in a lot of new ones, so it evens out.
And good God, this movie has the worst sound editing I've ever heard. I'd expect high schoolers making a home movie to do a better job than this.
I'm really glad they did this, since I didn't go to this one in the theater because (as hard as it may be to believe) I didn't really get into the studio version of the Birdemic riff. I heard so much good about the Live version, though, I regretted my decision. Thought this was loads more entertaining than the original; found myself laughing good and hard. Dunno if it was different lines, the delivery, or something about the atmosphere of the Live shows, but I really enjoyed it way, way more.
