I'm pretty sure the bottom of the barrel has been mined for everything it's worth...
Still time for Radio Flyer,: Red Wagons West.
The only possible upside is that I suppose it has potential to be a fun kids movie for my sons to watch... assuming they go that route... although it's not like Sandler's production company exactly has a kids friendly background... But as he gets older, I'm sure he will eventually be forced to follow Eddie Murphy and Ice Cube... falling from the ranks of edgy black guy into neutered family man.
So here is how this topic appeared on the main Rifftrax forum page:
Adam Sandler to make...
Which immediately made me think of this (http://www.theonion.com/articles/nation-refuses-to-read-headline-beyond-words-4year,27379/).
Now if this wer an unofficial remake of Killdozer, then it might be good.
I really don't see anything good coming from this. Kids movies made just to appease kids have the worst track record in recent years. And couple that with Adam Sandler (who can be funny) who has been mining the depths of stupid to appeal to the masses the last few years.
Ouch! This is going to hurt a lot isn't it.
Battleship was silly and all, but at least there could be an inferred story: 2 fleets trying to destroying each other. OK, it's odd that they decided that there should be alien but whateves. But Tonka trucks... are fun truck replicas. There's not really anything going on there except: "My toy bulldozer is pushing a lot of sand."
Don't get me wrong, I get a making movies for a lot of things that are marketable and wanting to push a product but... since the trucks are props, whatever they make is probably going to be incidental. Unless there's been a miscommunication and it's just another Adam Sandler comedy where he's an irritating manchild who owns a Tonka truck toy factory. Still better than Little Nicky (bet you thought I was going to go with Jack & Jill, didn't you)?
Mocap animated?
Great, the last thing Adam Sandler should produce is another foray into animation.
Megaweapon! Megaweapon! Megaweapon!
I see a Cars ripoff with giant dump trucks.
I thought this thread was a joke at first. I wish it was.

As long as Larry the Cable Guy isn't in this one.

No, but Rob Schneider almost definitely will be!
