Title: Favorite lines.
Post by: MartyS (Gromit) on January 21, 2012, 06:18:37 PM
Wow, I had several in my head when starting to write, now all I can think of is:

GHOST HOOOOUUSE!

That line kind of snuck up on me, didn't laugh the first few times, but later on a few of them got to me.

Oh, and all the making up lyrics to go with the boring repetitive music was a riot.

Time to rewatch it...

"And that, kids, is how I met your mother."

That one caught me off guard.

The Melissa Etheridge jacket line cracked me up. Who even thinks of things like that?

"Hello? If you're gonna leap out and stab me, know before you do, that I'm Jim Dalen, here on vacation with a camper parked out in the yard, staying here w/ my brother & his girlfriend and that my sister, Tina, is with us as well."

:D

Mike: "An unlocked crypt... you might as well put a sign on the door that says 'smoke weed here because you didn't get asked to the prom'"  :D

Also...

Kevin: "When did she start resembling a mugshot of Latoya Jackson's corpse?"

And some more (since I'm watching this yet again)...

Kevin: "Meow meow MEOW meow meow some PRIVACY MOTHER MEOW MEOW" (the delivery really sells this)
And later... How could you do such a thing to one of God's innocent creatures?
Mike: "No, it was a cat."

Listen...
Mike: "It's a pigeon using a dot matrix printer."

For the record, I actually like cats. I've got two myself.

"ALL I KNOW ARE COMPUTERS!"

That really cracked me up. This is a great riff.

Kevin: "You know when you're fleeing the scene of your brother's grisly murder but you find yourself just dawdling and hanging about for no reason?"

Bill: "Sure, we've all been there."

I love the delivery of that one...had my laughing for minutes

It's in the trailer for a reason, but
""You know, when you're throwing a lit match onto a gasoline-soaked child's coffin, it's time to question the choices you've made in life." takes the cake. It's also the most hilarious out of context.

I know it's been a while, but I thought for sure I'd already posted this:

"No good story ever begins 'So I was pouring gasoline all over the dead kid...' "
