Fans of James Nguyen may want to check out his first movie, Julie & Jack, which comes out in exactly one month. And by may want to check out, I mean really really think hard before watching it. It's like Birdemic, but minus bird attacks, more stock options and boardroom meetings, and it's shot on videotape. Also one character wants to buy a Ferrari.

So basically, it's a lot like the first half of Birdemic, but not as polished or professional.

I saw it and yes, Birdemic is a more polished film than J&J.

Is this guy trying to be another Tommy Wiseau, albeit with less sex and not acting in his own films, on purpose or does he really take his work this seriously?
For those who have seen this, does Tippi Hedren have a substantial part or did Nguyen just follow her around like Steve Martin stalking Eddie Murphy in "Bowfinger" and use the footage. Is her "part" in Birdemic the screenshot on the tv behind our star actress when she's posing in the blue bra and panties?? For that they give her third billing?? Bet she didn't get a check.

She's in about five minutes of Julie & Jack. She plays Julie's mom. You see about as much of her as you see of Nathalie's mom.
Yeah, the blue bra and panty shot is the only part she has in Birdemic. It's footage from Julie & Jack.
This sounds like the kind of Vortex of Suck that could cause hurricanes and famines. Beware, beware!
