Mine is:
Dimple Sandybanks of Frogmorton
The funny thing is that I do have dimples :)
My real name gives me the slightly dull Dimple Gamgee Whitfurrows. However, Richard Basehart gives me the slightly naughty Marroc Deepdelver!
There's also a link for Elvish names just below. "I am Fëanáro Aldaríon, and you killed my father!"
Great link, gams! ;)
...
What the hell is up with the dimple thing?! My hobbit name turned up as Dimple Chubb. It reminds me of that fat kid from Goonies or something~ And Lord help me, but i have no idea how to even pronounce my elvish name: Fëanáro Melwasúl...
I don't wanna' be Dimple Chubb... >:(

Oi!! Call me Olo Hardbottle!!!
I like! I like!
;D
And my Elven name is an odd one: Findecáno Elanessë.
hobbit:Posco Boffin of Needlehole
eh not bad i spose. i couldnt get to the eleven one, I would love to see my ent name ;)
I am Rosie-Posie Bramble of Willowbottom . . . we had a possum named "Rosie-Posie" once.
My elven name is Sairalindë Palantír, which isn't bad.
Well my short name is
Dimple Sandybanks of Frogmorton
But if I go with Jeffrey instead of Jeff, I'm
Pimpernel Sandybanks of Frogmorton
I wonder how it determines this. :^)
QuoteMy elven name is Sairalindë Palantír, which isn't bad.
nice you got the word palantir built right in.
Me: Olo Goodbody of Brockenborings
that's if I put in "Justin Panlasigui"
"JP Panlasigui" is below:
Pimpernel Goodbody of Brockenborings
lol - I have a good body =)
EDIT ELVISH:
For "JP" - Olwë Léralondë
For "Justin" - Findecáno Léralondë

Isn't that your "Porn Star" name?
;)
Simply putting in Pak as first name and Man as last name gives me
Hob Hamwich of Buckleberry Fern.
Mmmm. Hamwich...
Tonight at Chippendale's, Marroc Deepdelver and Pimpernel Goodbody
Hold back the ladies!!
Lotho (Scott) XXX of XXX (depending on my "surname").

I'm Olo Goodbody of Frogmorton.
I found a better site for Elvish names that says my name is Faelon (fy-lon). I like that.
Here thou art:
http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish/boynames.html
I think that it is based on the first and last letters of your first and last name.
If you type in John Smith, you would be Olo Foxburr of Loamsdown.
If you type in Jxxxxn Sxxxxxh, you would still be Olo Foxburr of Loamsdown.
When I type mine in, I am transformed into Popo Bulge of Great Smials. And my bulge brings great smiles to all the ladies out there. ;) :D
My keebler elf name is: Huor Arnatuilë. It sounds like a large scotsman calling my a whore. ;D
Hobbit name = Tigerlily Brandybuck of Buckland
Elven name = Tamuril of Dorthonion
I like the sound of my Hobbit name the best.
its really more of a peter pan name though isnt it?

Good one. Actually, this is how I visualize it: Tigerlily's dirty blonde hair is flowing as she skips through Fangorn Forest, whistling a happy tune to all the Ent's. ;)
i dont think hobbit chicks are attractive, but then im not into midgets really. Petite women are cute though.
Pssh. Elf lover. ;)
QuotePssh. Elf lover
bah its all about dwarf women, BEARDS ARE HOT!!!!!
heh seriously fantasy gets the raw end of the stick when it comes to women, scifi has got all the hotties. You can xena we will keep the orion slave women ;)
What about... nope. Yeah you're right. They're all in Sci-Fi.

neat you got ONE and as a whole the elves are only eh, go ahead and give two or three more hot fantasy women.
Off the top of my head, the only fantasy women that I can think of that are hot are Cate Blachett (LoTR), Michelle Pfeffer (Ladyhawke), Sandahl Bergman (Conan 1), Mia Sara (Legend), and Jennifer Connelly (Labyrinth). Sci-Fi seems to get more attractive women, because there are more Sci-Fi movies made.

we shouldnt do this by naming REAL women thats just silly lol
We should go by naming unreal things.
orion slave women, planet riza, etc.
whats the hottest thing in that sense
...
Hey now... I'm with ya' on the idea that Sci-Fi usually has the hottest women in film, when compared to fantasy. They just don't have a monopoly like you were implying, that's all. That picture of Liv Tyler alone should end that idea~ ;D
But if not, check out the artwork of fantasy artists like Boris Vallejo.

PS - The planet Riza is just a vacation spot. Women don't grow there or anything.
PPS - This is definitely the geeky-est conversation that i've ever had... ever.

Aren't those both from Star Trek (the green chick and Rigel 9 where Picard has his "liason" while on holiday?)? ;)
What about Kiera Knightly as Guinevere? :^)

You gotta give Fantasy some props for that. :^)
EDIT: Got the size fixed!
Just modify the post, and divide the image length and height by 2.
Neat. Thanks. :^)

yeah forgot about that, it does put a big hole in my argument.
QuotePS - The planet Riza is just a vacation spot. Women don't grow there or anything
well they do technically grow women. all planets do ;) but i mean more of the concept of risa, the "PLEASURE planet"
Quote from: sarcasm_made_Easy on February 24, 2007, 07:57:04 AM

Really? I didn't know that women were growing on Mars and Venus! Are they selling those "space tourist" tickets yet?!
-Rude
LOL well of course they are, those women are also totally attracted to nerds. Why do think everything nasa does is top secret. They know they have to go off planet to mate.
The Xena chicks aren't my type. Scrawny, bony, wrinkly and bitchy. So is that one elf. I don't know why they picked her.. aren't elves supposed to be immortal, and thus not have obvious wrinkles? Beastmaster though... whoooo.
My hobbit name is Grigory Gamwich of the Bree Gamwiches by the way. Tolkien has a talent for stupid names rivalling Lucas, come to think of it.
Does King Arthur really qualify as fantasy? Sure, there's Merlin and the Lady of the Lake,, but Camelot's pretty much meant to be in the "real world."
Also, Monica Bellucci may just be the hottest woman on Earth. She could melt Keira Knightley just by looking at her. So says Till Bulge of Great Smials.
Yeah - a lot of fantasies are meant to be in the "real" world, but so much of the Arthurian legend is fantasized (Gawain and the Green Knight for example) that I think KA qualifies for fantasy.
Movies like Dragonheart, Eragon, Harry Potter etc also fit into the category of Fantasy I suppose
dragon heart lol now theres a movie that needs a good riffing.
Podo Brockhouse of Loamsdown
Nice. At least it's better than popo. I sound like a cop.
Todo Smallburrows of Sandydowns
Don't think I like the "smallburrows" part...
Berilac Gamwich of the Bree Gamwiches
I'd ask what a Gamwich is, but that might imply I know what the hell the rest of this name means.
Ferdirand Bleecker-Baggins of Fair Downs
But everyone calls me Ferdi.
