Quick note: The files currently up are going to be replaced soon. On the current versions I didn't use any audio ducking (other than at the very end) as I was trying something different due to the dialog/riff interplay. New versions WITH ducking will be up by the end of the day since, after stepping away for the night and coming back, my ears seem to have been playing a joke on me yesterday.
I'll update this post once the new files are up. You can still get mp3's for the short itself and the riff if you don't want to wait for the new mix. Or, hell...if you're one of the people on here who don't like any ducking (I know you're out there) Get 'em while they're hot! :P
Done Got Mine and I can do my own 'ducking' in my Pinnacle Studio program 8)
Now that you guys are back to giving us the source audios again (THANKS!!) I don't have to wait!
Alright boys and ladies, new files are up.
WHAT!!!! No Veronica Belmont for Part 2? That sucks! GRRRRRR! I HATE these shorts cut into 2 parts!!!!!! We wait months for Part 2 and then the guest riffer disappears. Bad Rifftrax. Go to your room without dinner.
The divx of this doesn't work for me - and all the other ones work fine still (so it's not a codec problem). Did you do something different? Am I crazy? Where are my pants?
The .divx goes real fast for a second, the audio cuts out, and then it plays with no audio.
Anyone else having this problem?

Did the file download all the way? Should be 149MB.
I downloaded it twice - same thing both times. Both full size.
I did use Download Accelerator Plus to download it. Could that be a problem? Can everyone else play it?
I tried dloading it to my computer from our server and it plays correctly in Windows Media, VLC, and DivX Players.
Ok. Downloading it again. Thanks for checking :).

That's what I'm here for...kind of, well, not really. Your welcome anyway! :P
Try it without dload accel. If you still have trouble PM me.
No Veronica Belmont? That's disappointing... I would have thought you guys would record the whole thing at once and then split it up.
Good, but not as good as Three Magic Words or Molly Grows Up. Or part 1 for that matter, but mainly because of Veronica. "So they broke his fingers to stop him from playing and he kept playing anyway? That's commitment." (or something like that). "Double pwned!"
"Like this wooden bacon." Funny mainly because, by pure coincidence, I was eating bacon when I first heard it.
Loved the sample, particularly the Spring Fever callback. Can't get this or the others for a few weeks though.
This breaking shorts in 2 nonsense has got to end! Part 1 was a riot, Veronica was great... part 2? They lost that spirited vibe and it's not half as fun (and I miss Verionica!). When your on a roll, stick with it, this wait ruined it. Just charge us $2 for the full short, I'm begging you!
That was insane. The first part of this generally had something to do with the topic at hand, but American Thrift Part II? Crazy.
Veronica was too busy trying to convince people the PlayStation Move isn't a ripoff. >:D

I got the same impression. Did anyone else notice that the rather unimpressive stuffed animals at the toy store were $6.95? Seems a bit steep.

I'll have to check that out, that would be about $50 today adjusting for inflation.
i loved the shout out to Springy :)
That's Coily. Springy is the coil sprite.
Coily is the Coil Sprite
Springy is the Olympic mascot that Homer Simpson created.
IS THAT CLEAR!
Now, let it be known that I am the expert on all spiraled characters.
If anyone is remixing this short (AT, p2) using the riff and source MP3s files and encounters syncing issues, add 1:10.4 of silence to the front of the source to sync correctly 8)
