I've been having dreams about The Room. I haven't downloaded the Rifftrax yet and I've never seen the movie but for some reason it's like it wants me to watch it. It's eerie.
Nice try, Tommy.
Dont worry about it! We will all buy your movie in the legally prescribed manner
I don't know what you're talking about, but I'll try not to worry about it.
The strangest thing is that the dreams aren't really unpleasant.
Then it's not "The Room" you're dreaming about.
Ummmmmm ... all right, I'm going to say it: I had the same dream a few nights ago.
Haven't seen the movie; haven't bought the Rifftrax; have read just about everything this forum has to say about it. Apparently that is enough for the movie to implant itself virally in a host organism.
I wonder if people on the forum have had the same experience with Dune, or Red Dawn. Those movies got a lot of discussion, too.
Okay, let me test something out scientifically. Does the actual movie (not the Rifftrax) give you a few seconds' warning before the, uh, 'love' scenes begin? Because I distinctly recall having enough time to avert my eyes before Wiseau's buttocks could zap me Ark of the Covenant-style.
Yes, I realize what an image I just put into your brains.
You can kind of see it coming, but nobody seems to look away until it's too late. The reaction with everyone I've watched it with (Myself included) has been:
"...DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" followed by covering the eyes or staring downward.
Actually, I do wish this movie was available on iTunes so I could steer friends (and enemies) towards it.
From what I understand about iTunes - Wiseau's probably offered it to them. Give it a year and they'll put it up.

Oh, my God! It's a pandemic! Time to go underground.
No, this didn't happen with Red Dawn or Dune, just this.
Well, I started watching it with the rifftrax and everything. Now I feel like I"m having a nightmare. Taking a little break.
Less than 30 minutes in, already been 3 sex scenes... please tell me it doesn't keep up at this rate...
It slows down a bit for a while and then it picks up again. Please tell me you are watching it with the Rifftrack.
Speaking of the sex scenes...
Am I the only one who noticed the dent in the handrail of the stairs after the first time Lisa and Beardo did it? It's to the right of his head as he's bitching that they shouldn't have done it.
So which one was responsible for that, do you think?

AAAAAAHHHH!!! you made me picture something awful! :gouge:

I myself had a dream about this film before I actually watched the riff. It's the fact that so many people on the forum talk about it...i hope :speechless:
Well, I finished it, and holy crap, I can't believe how pointless it really was. I fully expected it to be bad, but I expected it to go somewhere or have some kind of story. A guy's girlfriend cheats on him. That's apparently the entire story.
The riffing was decent but didn't blow me away.

According to wisseau... our feeble minds are not capable of comprehending the movie's complexity the first time through. It requires multiple viewings in order to completely understand his masterpiece.
Ok if he that that that proves that somehow Wiseau is Issac.
