Hey,
a local radio station outside of Philly has been promoting the upcoming CT shows that are coming there. They interviewed Joel and are also giving away tickets to Alien Factor on Friday (which I'm already going to) Anyway, here is the link to the interview and contest info.

Frak, wish I had seen this last month, could have gone... I haven't been paying attention to CT lately, surprised they didn't send out an email about the Philly live show.
How was the show?

It was a blast! Something that surprised me a little was how good the CT gang's pre-show performance was -- they did several hilarious comedy bits and Joel did Q&A, which was equally hilarious. The movie itself, Alien Factor, was very bad and thus very riffable, so it had me laughing the whole time. It may have been 20 years since MST3k began, but "they still got it".
You should definitely try and catch one of their live shows -- I'm sure that there'll be plenty more. Hopefully, they'll play closer to the Baltimore/ DC area next time [fingers crossed]...
