Title: Who's Seen Wolverine Origins Already
Post by: bettertomorrowamy on April 02, 2009, 04:05:53 PM
It was released half-done onto the evil zones of the internet.  I saw it somehow.

It's gonna be our Free Comic Book Day movie so now I'll have to be doubly vigilant about being on the lookout for spoilers for the movie thanks to this leak..   :'(

a guy at work offered it to me, when I said I'd rather see it at the movies he reacted as though the idea of wanting to see something in a cinema was a completely new concept.

Yeah, it's not complete.  Apparently, apart from the unfinished special effects, there's 14 minutes missing too.  What's it like?

It's kind of lame.  I really dig Wolverine, but the ending becomes kind of a cop-out.  I don't know if that's how the comic book tells the story.  It's probably even more noticeable without the flashy special effects.

Saw Men in Black like this the first time, not intentionally but somebody had a bootleg that happened to be playing while I was in the room. Pretty sucky.

I'm waiting to see it in the theater so that I can feel that I got properly ripped off.

I've seen parts of it with no sound. And I think I hate it. They keep rewriting the X-Men universe at deeper and deeper levels. And yup, Deadpool is a guy with no mask and no sleeves.

What situation ON EARTH has it ever made sense for a man to have 2 swords and 0 sleeves?

I'm not a fanboy, so I thought it was good.

The effects that are in the movie are placeholders. Think early PS2 graphics or 360 graphics without the texture mapping.  It is entirely watchable and as for that missing 14 minutes... I couldn't tell you were it would go, the story is complete. [maybe studio mis-info to slow piracy?]
