Title: So was the heroine of this movie hot?
Post by: Thrifty on March 25, 2009, 02:54:06 PM
I'm kinda having trouble deciding.  She's kinda good looking, but she also has such a grating personality and its such a dull movie too.

Not really sure that the director let anyone show a real personallity in this film, but yes, she was attractive!

Attractive is just a physical trait. Her character's personality and the fact the movie is dull is the fault of the writers and director.

Hot? I can honestly say that thought never occurred to me. She's certainly not bad looking I guess, but I really didn't even think about it until I read this.

Now Judy in Night of the Living Dead, she was hot! At least from the neck up she was. It really pissed me off when her moron of a husband got her killed. Then again, I hate horror movies primarily because they tend to fixate on girls being hurt, the thought of which I can't stand.

As I've said in a couple other topics today, I'm currently catching up on these old public domain VoD movies. So far, they're kick ass. Fortunatetly I never saw any of the "Mike only" versions (except for House on Haunted Hill), so I have nothing to compare them too, nor do I care if these reuse jokes.

Too bad noboby posts to these topic anymore...

I dated a girl that, when I saw the lead in CoS, she very much reminded me of my ex. Different hair and fashion sense, but that vacuous stare was all too familiar.

Hor-Riff-ic Productions might have something to say about that...

Ahh, now I understand Bruce Willis' performance in Sixth Sense.

Rewatching this again, and I have to say, she does have very pretty eyes. Nice hair and figure too.

I could do without the babushka style hankerchief that reminds me of my grandmother though.

I am sure that was high fashion at the time!

She was supposed to be without her soul and just barely hanging onto mundane (as in worldly) existence. She wasn't acting poorly. She was actually doing the best anyone could ever do at a role like that without the director inserting godawful echoing voiceover thoughts.
