I learned that a large piece of plastic filled with aluminum foil can take over someone's mind.
I learned that I shop masterreplicas.com WAY too much, because I immediately went to see if they had a crystal skull for sale. (I wasn't wanting to BUY one.... just wanted to know if they are trying to market even more.)

I learned that when I stick a crystal skull on my forehead, it enhances my creativity and optimism, I transcend time and space, and I can smell colors. No wait. It's probably from the huge dope cloud.
The dope cloud from the killer crystal skull bong.
I learnt that keeping a back-stabbing friend around, despite his multiple turn-coats, is still worth keeping around on your adventure.. ::)

I got a tiny one with my DVD. Nice little replica that actually looks better than the one in the film. the film one looks like it has tons of plastic wrap stuffed inside surrounding a small blue light bulb.

No but you can make out the seem where the two halves of the mold met. Very faint, but you can see it. Little clear plastic version. Very neat.

That's the one. Except we don't jam pack the cranium with aluminum foil.

And the funny part is that that skull probably cost more than a car to make.
I learnt that no matter how much people complain that they hate remakes and sequels they REALLY love an excuse to bitch.
I've learned that when it comes to Indiana Jones:
I don't know him. I don't know him...I don't know him! I-DON'T-KNOW-HIM! I-DON'T KNOW-!!!
I swear that Mac repeating himself every other time could become the next 'CABOT!' drinking game.
I learned that I have seen the future and manned refrigerators will take us to the stars.
I learned that magnetism is very selective; a magnet that can attract gunpowder from 100 feet away won't make guns 3 feet away budge.

And it can attract non magnetic metal like gold (which they mention in the film but it goes nowhere, just like the entire "plot")....
I learned that crazy skull warriors can stay fresh and alive walled up inside their hiding places until they burst out, and they wait until the people they are after are well past, kind of defeating the whole idea of bursting out of hiding to surprise your enemy, I guess the oxygen deprivation throws off their timing. ;D
Interdimensional beings need to get their spaceship off the ground in order to flash into another dimension, I guess they take the phrase "vanish into thin air" quite literally. We unfortunately don't learn why interdimensional beings need a flying saucer. ???
Again we re-learned that Lucas can take lots of vehicles going fast with people fighting and make it tedious, how many times do we have to re-learn this?
I learned that a crystal skull can be magnetic, and that the magnetic field from such a skull can be completely blocked by wrapping it in a piece of cloth.
I learned that if one alien loses his crystal head, then he splits into a dozen alien skeletons which just sit around in a circle forever, 11 of them with crystal heads. Then when the missing head is replaced, they collapse back into a single alien, grow skin and organs, and take off in it's spaceship.
What's the smiley character for someone banging their head against the wall?
I learned that to ancient people gold means knowledge and to aliens gift means horrible agonizing death.
I (re)learned not to give Steven Spielberg the benefit of the doubt anymore.
I learned that calling Aliens "Interdimensional beings" doesn't change the fact they're Aliens.
I also learned that Indy's mother had no sense of humor due to the fact that he only mentions his Dad in the end.
I learned that this is one of the best Rifftrax in a long while.

But you put a rubber hand on your foot.
I learned that a 1950s fridge will protect me from ungodly amounts of radiation.
I also learned the secret handshake by reading the spoilers, and can now infiltrate the secret club.

Yes, but you must wear the matching
rubber hand on your foot, which is only distributed at said secret club.
I learned that the US Government was worried about the effects of massive radiation on a Slip N Slide in 1957....even though the Slip N Slide wasn't on the market until 1961.
