No .riff yet? Is that because of the DVD or something?
Yeah, no .riff file yet, but you can purchase now and of course it'll be added to your account later once it's available.
There are some sync issues that are being looked into at this time.

Think I will be watching this tonight.
Cool! Just got my DVD from Netflix too!
What other summer flicks are left for them to tackle? Hulk? Dark Knight? Mummy 3? Hancock? Meet Dave?
I think they should make it an annual tradition to riff as many of the summer flicks as possible. Summer films are mostly big and dumb and perfect for Rifftrax.
(If I had to pick one, I'd say riff Hancock. That is one big stinkburger.)
Surely Hancock fits into the comedy genre, which is one they don't do.
Dark Knight's not out here until December, I think. Do you guys get it any earlier?
(Heads to the main page to buy the Crystal Skull riff...)

I saw it as a popcorny, special effects-driven action film with touchs of "humor". I don't think it was a comedy at all, anymore than Iron Man or Transformers were comedies.

Oh, OK, I haven't seen it, but I thought it was meant to be a comedy. That's certainly how it was marketed.

I'm hoping for The Clone Wars.

Meet Dave?
Not only is Meet Dave a comedy, but Bill Corbett was actually one of the writers for it.
I don't think this one has any chance of being riffed.
The Dark Knight is way too well-loved to really get a good riffing.
The Mummy 3, however, is totally fair game. In fact, that's the only way I'd see it.

I suspect he knew about Meet Dave, i think it was a joke.
I preferred Iron Man to Dark Knight. It might be a bit morbid to riff though, given the circumstances.
I'd love to see the Mummy 3 riffed, though to be honest, I'd rather see the first one riffed first.

I say riff all three of the Mummy movies. Van Helsing, too.
Yes and YES!
I all for Mummy riffs. Got the first two on DVD. I also suggest Stargate. Van Helsing would be a good riff as well.

Yeah, I don't expect a Rifftrax for Meet Dave. I think at one point Bill Corbett mentioned the possibility of doing a mostly straight commentary track for the film and releasing it through Rifftrax (since there was not going to be a commentary on the DVD). I guess that might still be a possibility. And I'm sure we will see an iRiff for it at some point.

The Dark Knight's comically raspy voice.

They did Alien and Radiers of the Lost Ark just fine, and those films are equally (if not more) loved than
Patrick Bateman's Night Out The Dark Knight. I say go for it.

They don't have a really current morbid problem attached to them though, which could well effect how people respond to a comedy track of this movie.
Also, I thought the Aliens track was just so-so.
