Would DMR stop me from putting a Rifftrax short of DvD?
« on: July 08, 2008, 12:17:19 AM »
I downloaded a bunch of the short at a friend's house and I have been trying to burn them onto a DvD but my computer will not let me.

Would DMR cause this and if so can someone tell me what short have it so I know what to leave off?

Thank you.

I don't think any of the files have DRM, but the MPEG2 files are made specifically for DVD, so be sure to use them.

I use DVD Flick http://www.dvdflick.net/download.php ,and it worked Perfect burning the mpeg2 Shorts to DVD
(same program I used for converting the Star Wars Holiday Special) :highfive:

NOTE: Look into investing into those 'mini DVD' discs so you don't waste a regular 4.7g disc 8)

I use Pinnacle Studio 9.4 to capture them (once burned to individual disc), and then burn them to disc based on Gammer's Shorts DVD cover  ;D

None of our shorts have had DRM for several months and they will not have it going forward.

Does Windows Movie Maker have any other function?  I've never seen it say anything else.  Granted I've only tried to use it one or two times.  After that, I just moved on.  You'd have better luck with just about any other disc-burning program.

It works pretty good when it is not telling me that a video file isn't indexed.

I don't know what that means or why it would keep me from burning a disc.

It is the worst software I have ever used, but I don't have $90 to pay for new disc burning solfware.

Glad I got that link, now if I can only get it to download.
