The team that beat the Panthers 45-28 week 12. I'm sure you remember that right?
I think so.. But that was just a small 'skip' on our current path to Glory 8)

My apologies to BBQ but...

FUCK YES!!!

It's so nice to be in the playoffs, especially after last year. Go Falcons!

Congratulations to you guys.  But if I were you, I'd be worried.  Four turnovers and it comes down to the last minute?  That is troubling.  I remember thinking that there is no way the Vikings should be even close.  Imagine if Peterson HADN'T dipped his hands in Vaseline before the game.

Hopefully, we'll meet again.  And we won't be giving you the game this time.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Well I won't deny we we're lucky (That touchdown recovery was crazy) but sometimes all it takes is a little luck here and there. No doubt the Vikings are a good team, so I thought it would be pretty close today. Tavaris Jackson had a monster day. Adrian Peterson was trying to do too much I think.

And with that loss by Carolina, Atlanta could still win the division! Don't count the chickens yet RVR.
Killing me won't bring back your Goddamned honey!

DAMMIT!!!

I'm going to bed now..

Sleeping while full of tacos and tequila and fueled with bad thoughts is a dangerous combo.

Rams managed to pile up a big lead, only to mysteriously lose in the fourth quarter for the second week in a row....... keeping the second draft slot.   I think someone should look into this!

Actualy I went to bed on Dominos pizza And a Mcdonalds Big Mac meal..
I was a Happy camper till overtime :grr:

My thoughts are this:
The Panthers played like they were on a mission (and so did the Giants for that matter), but I Don't expect us to under estimate the Saints next week; in fact I expect the Panthers to Mow through them!

So yes Warrior, we're watching your impressive Falcons and both our teams look to have a battle with each other in the playoffs..

It'd kill me to see the Bears get into the playoffs over the Vikings.  The Vikings are the superior team.  The Bears have not beaten ANYONE of note - they have a softer schedule, and if they do get in it will solely be on the basis of that and nothing else.  They'll embarrass the division in the playoffs by losing to whatever wild card team they end up playing.

I have full faith and confidence that the Rams can lose this Sunday at Atlanta and lock up the 2nd pick in the draft.   Now time to dump a ton of money on Bill Cohwer's door step.

The Rams sent out the below e-mail to all season ticket holders and printed it in a full page ad in the sports page.   It is never good when your team needs a full page to applogize.   Their President and GM both resigned this week, so time for new management.

Oh boy, the promise of "state-of-the-art public spaces"....... superbowl, here we come!

Dear St. Louis Rams Fans,

In 2008, we experienced a year fraught with difficulty and challenge. Yet the Rams look forward to the New Year with renewed optimism and enthusiasm. The No. 1 priority is improving our on-the-field product and we promise to do everything in our power to restore the pride which has made us one of the NFL's marquee franchises.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of the Rams' World Championship, we are proud to be working towards a dramatically improved fan game day experience through various stadium enhancements. These will include new scoreboards and electronics as well as the creation of state-of-the-art public spaces.

We understand that you face the unenviable task of deciding how to spend your entertainment dollars. As a result, we have decided to freeze all PSL season ticket prices other than those few seats which will be impacted by the refurbishment. This marks the second straight year the Rams have not increased ticket prices. We are grateful for your loyalty and continued support as we work on delivering the winning team you so richly deserve.

At this joyous time of year, we would like to wish you and your families a blessed holiday season and a Happy New Year. Together, we will make 2009 a year to remember!

Sincerely,

Chip Rosenbloom                            Lucia Rodriguez                          Stan Kroenke

If you manage to snag Bill Cower, his presence alone will shake the state of mind in both the players and other coaching staff :shocking:
