Yeah I was flipping through the channels last night and I saw a little old Texan lady talking to David Letterman, Ann was the first one to say "I think that's Bill Hick's mother" though. Great stuff.

Just watched it tonight. Great stuff. I was lucky enough to see Bill Hicks perform. I was one of like 12 people on Tuesday night at a little comedy club in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1992 .

There's a torrent out there with a whole bunch of recorded concets from his tour of the UK in '94 (I think). A lot of material is the same, obviously, but there are some great individual moments within each one, as he reacts to the crowd, and adds or forgets things from his routine.

Wow, just saw this. It's cool that Letterman finally addressed the issue and aired the bit.

is called ash. Let's say you wanted to spell the word
, you would say: "Dee, ash, em, oh, en." Although it is pronounced like a long
I
or like "ae", it depends how you use it.

He is in the liner notes too:
Back when Tool used to not give interviews at all they allowed themselves to be interviewed only about his death. They loved Hicks. They got him to intro them at Lalapalozer too.
