Stunt Double?!
« on: June 26, 2008, 09:15:05 PM »
Ok, here's a real mystery for you.

I just finished watching The Sixth Sense with the riff (again!), and at 1:43:03 in the film, this appeared in the scrolling credits:

Mr. Willis' Stunt Double       Terry Jackson

Eh ... what?!

Can anyone tell me even one scene in this movie that would have required Bruce Willis to use a stunt double?

Perhaps when he was "running" after Cole in the beginning of the movie (because the real Bruce Willis has forgotten how to run)?

Maybe the scene when Bruce Willis gets shot and falls on the bed (too dangerous of a fall to be performed by the man himself)?

Was there a deleted scene, only to be found in the Special Features section of the DVD, in which Bruce Willis engages in some serious hand-to-hand combat with one of the ghosts, complete with Matrix-style up-the-wall running and leaping away from exploding fireballs?

Little help here?

There were some driving scenes in the movie right? I haven't watched the Riff yet and the last time I watched it was when it was in the theater. If there was a scene of his car operating normally (i.e. not being towed) it was probably being driven by a double.

Offhand, I don't remember him driving.  Maybe it was when his character crossed the road.  But why would a stunt double cross the road?

I noticed the stunt double in the credits also.

I watched the deleted scenes but nothing there that would be considered a stunt.

It was filmed in Philly after all, maybe the insurance company for the movie said it was too dangerous for Bruce to walk around town?
